My Current Skincare Routine Great For Combination Acne-Prone Skin!

If you have been following my blog for some time now you probably now my skin struggles, if you not.... I'll catch you up; I had THE worst adult acne breakout ever! I tried everything and was even put on antibiotics by my dermatologist. I cleared up my face and Im happy to say my face is back to normal (occasional) breakouts and no excessive oils.

With my pregnancies I always take a break from using too many products, I don't really need them and I don't like to think I'm putting chemicals into my (baby) body. I started doing research on some new products and others I have been using for years and they don't fail to work for me, this is my current skin care and I have to say my skin has been feeling and looking pretty nice!

AM
  1. Sunday Riley Ceramic Slip Cleanser
  2. Lancôme Tonique Radiance Clarifying Exfoliating Toner
  3. Ole Henriksen Truth Serum-Collagen Booster
  4. Ole Henriksen Sheer Transformation
  5. Elta MD UV Clear Sunscreen
PM
  1. Ceramic Slip Cleanser with Clarisonic Mia (every other day)
  2. Lancôme Tonique Radiance Clarifying Exfoliating Toner
  3. Ole Henriksen Truth Serum-Collagen Booster
  4. Avenue Soothing Moisture Mask
Once A Week Or Every Other Week
Acure Organics Brightening Facial Scrub
Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask

The key for me has been to not over stimulate my skin, I only scrub if I'm using a lot of makeup on those days. I can't say enough how important staying hydrated is to your whole well being, but the first place that you start to feel and see a difference is your skin. the post is already long so let me know if you would like my review on any particular one and I can do that on another post!

Product Rave: Khiels Super Fluid UV Defense SPF 50+

While I was away I got a little more sun than I planned! I try my best to stay out of the sun, but I couldn't resist soaking in the sun a little bit after these hard months of winter. I have always had an ongoing battle with sunscreens, they are always too thick and end up breaking me out. Not to mention the oily greasy appearance it always gives. I was determined to fine a good one and I am happy to announce I did! I LOVE Kielhs Super Fluid, it really is amazingly light and its not oily so reapplying was never a problem. I love that it didn't interfere with my routine I could still put on some makeup on top and not feel oily. I used it everyday while on vacation and I haven't had any new break outs. Give it a try and let me know how it works for you! Good Luck Xxx
