There are two things that I love in this world, body care and perfumes. Scentbird now has this amazing addition to their monthly perfume subscription. Four body scrubs, and six hand creams to choose from. I got to try four of their hand and body products and I'm in love. 

The hand creams are rich but fast absorbing, leaving behind silky smooth hands and an unbelievable fragrance. My favorite of the two is the Rose & Prosecco with its notes of roses, champagne and pink musk I cant stop smelling my own hands. 

The body scrubs are amazing, different from others because I found them to be more moisturizing then actual exfoliation but when I washed it off my skin was silky smooth and with a beautiful scent. There should be no surprise that my favorite one is the Coconut & Sugar.

I Use Dermaflash To Shave My Skin And This Why You Should Too!

I remember the first time I tried shaving it did not go as "smooth" as I planned it in my head. I used a BIC three blade razor and well my skin did not react so well. I broke out, I even cut my skin (ouch) and took half of my brow off. Fast forward a couple of years later, I tried waxing the hairs off and this time it went really bad for my skin. I broke out like I had never broken out before and it took months for my skin to clear out. I was left with no desire to remove my little vellus hair, until one day years later my esthetician asked me if I wanted to add dermaplaning to my facial. I went on to tell her my past experiences and she laughed and said girl I got you. 

Turns out the reason I was breaking out before was very obvious, I was over exfoliating by using three blades. I also irritated my skin by using hot wax to my sensitive thin skin. 

I was hesitant but decided to try dermaplaning the fancy name for shaving. It was amazing, my skin looked radiant, smooth, more even tone, my makeup went on more effortless, I needed less product. The only downside was the price tag. It added a whopping $75 to my already expensive monthly facial.

I was shopping for skincare products one day and came across Dermaflash and well it made perfect sense to own this little tool. I can do my own dermaplanning at home whenever I want to and save money! I achieved the same awesome benefits as the professional dermaplaning at a fraction of the price. 

Dermaflash is easy to use, its a three-step system: Prep, Edge, Soothe. First, you prep the face with the included cleanser. Then, insert a new Edge into the device and using short feathery strokes, use the device on the face to remove built debris, dead skin cells, and peach fuzz. Lastly,  soothe the skin with the Hydrating Moisturizer

Here are some more tips to follow, for how to use your dermaflash and have the best experience with it: 

-Use DERMAFLASH one time per week for maximum benefits. 

-DERMAFLASH is for use on a woman’s face only.  

-Follow the three-step method: Prep, Edge, Soothe 

-Charge device overnight before use. Device will not charge with Edge in place.

-Insert a new Edge prior to each treatment.

The last one is the most important to follow, don't reuse the blades. This is how you can cause irritation and breakouts, the secret to dermaplanning success is always making sure you use a brand new blade and use awesome products for your skin to absorb and benefit from. Too Faced Hangover Rx Replenishing Face Primer Review!

I tried this primer from too faced with high hopes, but unfortunately it did not work for me. My first impression when first pumping it in my hand was the smell, I did not like it at all. I love coconut but this smell is more like a rancid piña colada. Then there was how itchy my face was, I think I must be sensitive to an ingredient in it. I decided to still put makeup on just to see if I noticed a difference and if the the itch would go away but I did not. The itchiness got too uncomfortable so I watched my face, which was left red an irritated. 

Overall I would suggest you try it for yourself, the reviews I read mostly raved about how great their makeup looked over this primer and the smell being divine. For me it was a completely different experience. I will be returning this one back to sephora and trying out another primer.... Which one do you guys like? 

Skyn Iceland Solution For Stressed Skin Review

Im not one to experiment too much when it comes to my skincare routine.  I have crazy sensitive skin that breaks out very easy. I have been on the lookout for a different skin care routine since my needs change with the weather. Without any prior investigation I ordered these kits from the Victoria Secret website and her is my review:

I will definitely be using these product, along with some of my other favorite products.  The night cream is probably my favorite, it feels so moisturizing and my skin loves it!

My Experience:

I did not use this as they recommend, the facial clothes are best to keep for on the go makeup remover, or those night when we are too tired to wash our face. I used the cloths on a few occasions and I really liked it, it does what it claims and left my skin feeling clean. The anti blemish gel however did nothing to help my blemishes heal faster. Out of the two I would definitely repurchase the cloths and not the Anti-blemish gel.

A Quick And Easy Way To Heal Your Acne Fast!/ Una Manera Rapida Y Facil De Curar Tu Acne En Casa!

My skin has been getting very neglected lately, to be completely honest I'm a hot mess right now. I have been dedicating all my time and energy between taking care of the girls and the home renovations leaving no time for me or my blog :(. To add to all this, for the first time in years I currently don't have a skin routine that I'm following and trust me when I say my skin type REALLY needs a routine to stay acne free. All the stress, sleepless nights and now a cold my skin decided to take its revenge and break out everywhere! I'm currently dealing with some serious breakouts not only are they in the worst places but they are painful and really big.

 I cant decide what routine to start my skin back and will be looking for a second opinion from my dermatologist but in the meantime I'm going to take down some of the inflammation with one of my favorite DIY mask. A great way to help dry out those pimples as soon as they pop up is to use an Aspirin mask. Keep in mind it can be drying, so if your little red-friend looks like he is drying out, then try to keep it calm with chamomile or just leave it alone for a few days. I recommend using this for pimples that are new and need some drying power. 

In a bowl, crush 5-10 Aspirins and add a few drops of water to make a paste. Apply mixture on affected area and let sit for 10-15 minutes before washing off. If you feel your skin tingling or burning, rinse the mixture off (this is rare, but just in case). Keep in mind this is powerful, so don’t do this more than every 5-6 days or so!

If you have an oily T-Zone this recipe is safe enough to use on the entire area, but keep it on for 5-10 minutes. Consult your dermatologist for any questions regarding the face mask.

Mi piel ha sido muy descuidada últimamente, para ser totalmente honesta, estoy hecha un lío ahora. He estado dedicando todo mi tiempo y energía entre cuidar de las niñas y los las renovaciones en el hogar que no me deja tiempo para mí o mi blog : (. Añadir a todo esto, por primera vez en años que actualmente no tengo una rutina que que siga para el cuidado de mi piel y creen mí cuando digo mi tipo de piel necesita una rutina para estancia el acné libre. Todo el estrés, noches sin dormir y ahora esta gripe mi piel decidió tomar su venganza y estallar acné por doquier! Actualmente tengo unos brotes de acné que no sólo están en los peores lugares pero son dolorosos, y realmente grande. 

No puedo decidir qué rutina para iniciar mi piel y voy a buscar una segunda opinión de mi dermatólogo pero mientras tanto voy a tomar algunos de las mascarillas anti inflamación con uno de mis favoritos máscara. Una buena forma de ayudar a secar los granos tan pronto como aparezcan es usar una aspirina máscara. Tenga en cuenta que puede ser secado, por lo tanto, si tu pequeño rojo-amigo parece que se está secando no trate esta mascarilla. Yo recomiendo usar este para las espinillas que son nuevos y necesitan una potencia de secado. 

En un recipiente, y aplastar a 5-10 aspirinas y añadir unas gotas de agua para hacer una pasta. Aplicar esta mezcla en la zona afectada y dejarlo reposar durante 10-15 minutos antes de lavar. I am loving these chubby crayons from Revlon, they are perfect for the colder months because they are like a Chapstick but with beautiful long lasting color. They come in 12 colors and unlike other stain these offer smoother and softer lips with just the right amount of stain. I had some help from my two beautiful daughters which happen to have different undertones then me to give you an idea on how the look on different skin colors. 

Me facinan estos lapiz labial humectantes de Revlon son perfecto para estos tiempos frios donde nuestros labios requieren mantenerse bien humectados. Son como chapstick pero con 12 opciones de colores hermosos. Para demostrar lo hermoso que los colores que yo compre se ven en diferente tonos de piel, mis hermosas hijas me prestaron sus brazos.

Wax Or Shave?

 Hi my loves on this post I want to talk about the two most used methods for hair removal and break them down to see which method id best for you. As an Esthetician I shouldn't even go over the pros of shaving vs waxing, we are told from the first day we step foot in our class to throw away our razors and don't pick it up again. I loved the idea of not shaving again because personally I hate shaving, my skin gets very irritated and itchy and I always cut myself (ouch)! 

Hola mis amores hoy quiero charlar sobre los dos metodos mas usados por nosotras las mujeres a la hora de removernos los cabellos del cuerpo. Como una Esteticista no estoy supuesta si quiera hablar sobe la razuradora ya que desde que empece la escuela nos prohibieron usarlas. Personalmente a mi no me gusta rasurarme pues siempre me irrita y me corto! 

Shaving is the removal of hair by using a razor, shaving is one of the most common and and convenient methods of hair removal. While it is painless people are not always doing it correctly and or not using the right blade for your skin type or the area that you are shaving, this and other factors could lead to skin irritation and cuts. When we shave we are only slicing the hair down to the level of the skin usually your skin feels smooth for the first day or two. 

Afeitarse es el retiro del pelo mediante el uso de una hoja de afeitar, afeitado es uno de los más comunes y convenientes métodos de depilación. Mientras que es indolora la gente no siempre lo hace correctamente y o no usando la hoja correcta para tu tipo de piel o el área que se depile, esto y otros factores podrían llevar a cortes y la irritación de la piel. Cuando afeitamos sólo estamos cortando el cabello hasta el nivel de la piel generalmente la piel se siente suave durante el primer día o dos.

Waxing is the removal of hair by pulling it out from the root this ensures that you will not see any new hair for at least 4 to 6 week. Almost any body part can be waxed and there are many types of wax suitable for the area. Waxing can be painful and expensive which makes it not as common or convenient as shaving. 

Depilación con cera es el retiro del pelo tirando de él hacia fuera de la raíz esto garantiza que usted no verá ningún nuevo cabello para por lo menos 4 a 6 semanas. Casi cualquier parte del cuerpo puede ser encerado y hay muchos tipos de cera conveniente para el área. Depilación con cera puede ser doloroso y costoso que resulta no tan conveniente como afeitar o común.

In conclusion it really comes down to your personal preference I personally prefer waxing over shaving because I have very thin sensitive skin and shaving really irritates me more. I'm also very blind and always cut myself which result in marks on my legs. I also love the idea of one day not growing hair at all which makes the pain worth standing! También estoy muy gorda y siempre corté que resultan de las marcas en las piernas. Beautiful Smooth Face/ Un Rostro Hermoso Y Suave!

 Nothing is worst then applying foundation and it looking patchy or uneven, this usually happens when our skin is to dry or hasn't been exfoliated. This is one of the quickest and easiest ways to exfoliate your skin and it works WONDERS!!

SUPER SMOOTH FACED EXFOLIATOR

Ingredients
1 tablespoon oats
1 tablespoon baking soda
1 tablespoon yogurt

Mix both ingredients together in a bowl and add just enough water to create a mushy paste if needed. Then wet your face and work mixture into your skin adding water as you need. Rinse and moisturize! This will literally give you the best most softest skin ever! Plus the oats and yogurt will help regulate the oil levels in your skin to give you a matte look from day to night!

Nada es peor después de aplicarse maquillaje y luciendo parches o desigual, esto sucede generalmente cuando nuestra piel se seque o no ha sido exfoliada. Esta es una de las maneras más rápidas y sencilla de exfoliar la piel y hace maravillas!!

SÚPER SUAVE EXFOLIANTE FRENTE

Ingredientes
1 cucharada de avena
1 cucharada de bicarbonato de sodio
1 cucharada de yogur

Mezclar ambos ingredientes en un tazón y agregue agua suficiente para crear una pasta blanda si es necesario. Luego húmedo la mezcla de tu cara y trabajo en tu piel agregando agua como usted necesita. Enjuagar e hidratar. Esto literalmente te dará la mejor piel más suave siempre! Además la avena y yogurt ayudará a regular los niveles de aceite en su piel para darle un aspecto mate de día a noche!
