Home Decor: Closet Renovations Part 1(Gold Rush)!

If you follow me on Instagram then you probably know I have been renovating my closet/makeup/recording room. I have been living in my for a whole year in our new home and I am finally going to have my much needed space. I couldn't decide what color theme to go with, and after a lot of thinking I decided to paint the walls the same as my bedroom but with gold as the accent colors instead. Every Sunday I want to share the progress I make with you guys and maybe get some suggestions from you guys.

Si me sigues en Instagram probablemente sabrás que he estado renovando mi closet y habitación de maquillaje y grabación. He vivido un año entero en nuestro nuevo hogar y finalmente voy a tener mi espacio que me ha sido muy necesario. No podía decidir qué tema de color para pintar y decorar, y después de mucho pensar me decidí a pintar las paredes del mismo color de mi dormitorio pero con acentos oro. Todos los domingos quiero compartir el progreso que hago con ustedes y tal vez conseguir algunas sugerencias de ustedes.

The first DIY I did was this mirror, I loved the Athena wall mirror from overstock, but I did not like that it wasn't an all gold and has an antique look. I went to ikea looking for some things and found the   UNG mirror and LOVED it but it only comes in black. I decided right there and then that I was going to paint it! Plus it was only $39.00 VS $162.

El DIY primero que hice fue este espejo, me encantó el espejo de la pared de Athena de Overstock, pero no era un tono oro completo. Fui a ikea buscando algunas cosas y encontró el espejo UNG y me encantó, pero sólo viene en negro. Decidí justo allí y entonces que iba a pintarlo! Además era sólo $39.00 VS $162 que costaba el de Overstock. 

The mirror was so easy to remove, as it comes off like a picture frame so no need to tape it up. I placed it on a old card  box in the back yard and sprayed away!

El espejo era tan fácil de quitar, como se sale como un marco de fotos no hubo necesidad de usar tape. Lo coloque en una vieja caja en el patio y a pintar se a dicho!

After the first coat 

After the first coat I could immediately tell it was going to be a success. The paint was going smoothly I kept shaking the can in between strokes and keeping it at a good 10 in distance. The black was still coming thru. I let it dry for a good 1 and a half hour and then reapplied.

Después de la primera capa inmediatamente vi que iba a ser un éxito. La pintura aplicaba suavemente  e uniformemente seguí sacudiendo la lata entre trazos y mantenerlo en un buen 10 cm de distancia. El negro aún se venía a través. Lo deje secar por una hora 1 hora y media y luego re aplicar.

After the second coat 

This is how it looked after the second coat I was so in LOVE. This is exactly what I wanted a bright metallic gold color. I let it dry and then retouch wherever I felt it need more, then let it dry for 24 hours before hanging it up! 

 Después de la segunda capa estaba tan enamorada. Esto es exactamente lo que yo quería un color oro metálico brillante. Lo dejé secar y luego retoque donde quiera que sentí que necesitaba más, entonces deje secar durante 24 horas antes de colgarlo!

On the the accent wall!

Here it is hanging beautifully on my accent wall! 

Aqui esta colgando el espejo hermoso en mi pared de acento!

I had a some paint left and painted my black hand display as well!

Lilly Ghalichi Lilly Lashes Review And Photos!

I love me some fake lashes and there is nothing that can spice up a look more then lashes. This lashes are really nice and what I love the most about them is that they look and feel so natural. I have tried a lot of lashes all price range so I have a good idea of what I like in lashes. What I like the most about these ones, is that the strip is soooo thin it really blends with your natural lash line. 

Me encanta usar pestañas postisas , le dan un toque de glamour y sexapeal a cualquier look. Esta collecion de pestañas son muy lindas y me encanta por lo natural que se sienten y lucen. Yo personalmente eh tratado muchos tipos de pestañas y se lo que me gusta y lo que no. Particularmente lo que me gustan mas de estas son su banda fina la que ayuda a que luzcan mas natural y sea mas facil de applicar. 

Instabul has been worn by me a few times now and I love it, its really a nice set of lashes and they look really natural on. I wore it for the Keira Knightley look I did and a few times after that, I even wore them without any other eye makeup on and they looked so natural!  

Instabul es la que ya eh lucido en varias ocaciones ya, son muy bellas y lucen super natural puestas. Las use cuando cree el video inspirado en Keira Knightley y tambien las eh lucido hasta sin ningun otor maquillaje en los ojos y parecia que fueran mias solo que mas largas y gruesas. 

Barcelona are the most long and dramatic, but they are very thin so I would stack them with maybe shorter but thicker ones to give them a more complete dramatic effect Lilly always stacks hers on and now I know why.

Barcelona son las mas large y dramaticas de las que compre, pero tambien son super finas haci que tendria que usar dos de estas o otra mas corta pero mas gruesas para que luzcan un poquito mas "llena" y completa. La creadora de estas pestañas Lilly Ghalichi siempre luce sus pestañas de dos y aveces hasta de tres y ya entiendo por que. 

Tehran is beautiful too but they can definitely be a little fuller, I wore this and they are perfect for a someone is just starting to add lashes to their makeup routine but is not ready to go too dramatic just yet. 

Tehran son bellas pero como las anteriores pudieran ser un poco mas gruesa para mi gusto. 

Hong Kong are bottom lashes and I will be completely honest I have NEVER worn them or any bottom lashes. I do how ever want to try them out one day I'm feeling super glam. 

Hon Kong para las pestañas inferiores y honestamente nunca eh usado pestañas postizas ahi pero queise comprar unas y ver si un dia me animo.  

St. Tropez are corner lashes I like to use them with Tehran, together they look beautiful and make more of a cat eye look. 

St. Tropez son para las esquinas de los ojos para que luzcan mas en forma de gato, me gusta husar estas con Tehran juntas crean una pestaña muy hermosa. 

These are individual undies lashes for the lower lash line, I will begin with these and work my  self up to hong kong as I start to feel more comfortable with bottom lashes. 

Estas son para las pestañas inferiores pero son individuales, con esta empezare a practicar y a ver si me gusta..
