For The Smoothest Skin: fresh Brown Sugar Body Polish Review!

Smooth skin is life and a good scrub will give you just that. A good scrub needs the best combination of exfoliation and hydration. A scrub with no hydrating ingredients can over exfoliate which irritate the skin, one with too much oils, soaps, or other add ons can be too hydrating but not aid in the skin turnover we want from a scrub.

What I love the most about this scrub is how soft my skin feels, and not a super oily and tacky feeling that some leave behind. A baby smooth softness that very few scrubs give. The best part is that the feeling lasts for days. Moisturizing after is really not necessary at all!

The best way to describe the scent is "Sweet citrus" with a hint of peppermint, its smooth and not overpowering. I got a good 4 uses out of the 7oz size container and like to use it once a week, as the last step in my shower. I love it and recommend it to anyone wanting smother, healthier, and more vibrant skin.

I love sharing beauty tips like this with all of you, first of all because they are proven to work for most of you but also because its inexpensive and easy to try. Apple cider vinegar is a fabulous all-in-one beauty product that when used in your beauty regimen it can help you get beautiful from head to toe. The acidity of apple cider vinegar actually balances our skin and hairs natural PH levels. I will recommend that you find  a good organic brand of raw apple cider vinegar for the most beauty benefits.

Apple Cider Vinegar Hair Rinse

Apple cider not only removes hair residue and built up from the products we use it also works by closing the cuticle of the hair, which makes light reflect off it... in other words it makes our hair super shiny and look and feel healthier!

Ingredients:
1 Part Water
1 Part ACV

How To:
I like to use a container with a spray nozzle but this is optional you can use anything you want to mix the apple cider vinegar and water together. After I shampoo I spray the mixture into my hair and massage it into my scalp and make sure my ends are nice and covered with the ACV rinse. I let it sit on my hair for a few minutes before rinsing fully with water. I do apply a conditioning mask after because my hair is super dry from bleaching it, but I used to be able to only use this as my conditioner because it does detangle and leave your hair feeling smooth and soft.

Apple Cider Vinegar Facial Toner

Because skin is naturally acidic, apple cider vinegar can help restore your skin's natural ph balance. When our skin is in balance our skin perform at its best, acv can also help reduce red marks and blemishes, and soften skin. A good toner can moisturize, refresh and purify son. No need to spend $$ on fancy product to do it.

Ingredients:
1 Part Water
2 Part Water
A few leaves of your favorite fresh herb (Optional)

How To:
One part ACV mixed with two parts water creates a refreshing toner that leaves your skin glowing. It works works best when used after cleansing, and don't worry the vinegar smell will dissipate after a few minutes. For those with sensitive skin you might want to dilute the solution further.

Apple Cider Vinegar Foot Soak

Apple cider vinegar is also great for treating our rough, dry, cracking heels so many of us have. The acid in vinegar, aetic acid, is very gentle but it softens rough heels very well.

Ingredients:
1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar
A basin of warm water

How To:
Gently scrub the feet while soaking for 10-15 minutes. Soaking too often or for too long will make the feet look worse so don't over due it and if you have a lot of calluses try breaking it into 10-15 minute sessions, 3 times a week. This also helps with smelly feet, and athletes foot!

My Favorite Beauty Tip Of The Week/ Mi Tip Favorite De La Semana!

I'm about to share with you one of the most amaizing beauty tip I have ever tried. Dry Brushing is a technique for exfoliating skin using a dry, natural bristle brush to gently brush the skin. It is also called skin brushing or body brushing. This technique not only promotes healthier skin by removing dead skin cells on the surface of the skin, but also by stimulating and increasing skin cell production, giving your skin a healthy glow all year long.  But the benefits are not just skin deep - dry brushing both increases blood flow and circulation and enhances detoxification through the skin. The benefits are so amaizing and not to mention I find it so relaxing to do. I try to take some time and do it at least ever other night. Dry brushing can be done every day if you want!

The Benefits
  • Removing dead skin cells and opening pores to allow them to “breath” and absorb nutrients. Which leaves you with skin that not only feels softer but it's also healthier.
  • Stimulated lymphatic and circulatory systems: boosting your immune system and increasing circulation to help detoxify.
  • Stress relief: increasing your blood flow reduces stressed areas of the body and stimulates nerve endings in your skin which in turn rejuvenates your nervous system.
  • Reduced cellulite: increasing blood circulation to the skin helps break down and releases toxins that cause cellulite in legs and hips.
  • Helps tone your skin, specially after weight loss and or pregnancy.
Who is this treatment not good for?  I would suggest that if you have severe skin irritation (acne, rash, eczema, open sore/cut, etc.) To ask you dermatologist if this is right for you.

How To:
I Start at my feet making long sweeps,  moving up the legs on both sides, then work from the arms toward my chest. On my stomach, I direct the brush counterclockwise, and for my back a brush sideways like towards the stomach. And, I don't brush too hard: Skin should be stimulated and invigorated but not irritated or red. I like to avoid going back and forth and scrubing too hard.

Note: There are various suggestions on the web on how to Dry brush, but the one thing they all agree on is to always start from your feet working your way to your heart.

I hope that you guys try this out and tell me how it works for you!

Good Luck! Xxx

Buenas suerte! Xxx

DIY: Yummy Lip Scrub/ Hazlo En Casa: Un Exfoliante Para Labios

There's nothing less attractive then dry chapped lips, here's a quick recipe you can make from the comfort of your home that will give you sexy soft lips in no time....

Here’s what you’ll need:
  • 1/4 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1/8 teaspoon brown sugar
  • Small glass container or bowl for mixing
Mix together 1/4 teaspoon olive oil and 1/8 teaspoon brown sugar in a glass container or bowl.  Apply to lips, gently rubbing in a circular motion.  Rinse off excess with water.  The brown sugar will rinse off leaving a small amount of the olive oil behind, which adds moisture and a little shine to your lips.  Follow with your favorite all-natural lip balm if desired.  This recipe makes enough for one application.

Good Luck! Xxx

Three Beautifying Ways To Use Baking Soda/ Tres Maneras Maravillosas De Usar Bicabonato De Sodio!

I hope you guys are having a WONDERFUL weekend, but also take some time to enjoy some serious beautifying with Baking Soda! I loooove what it does and it’s clarifying powers! I put together three ways you can use this amazing product Soooo enjoy!

At Home Dermabrasion

Simply use 2 tablespoons baking soda and mix with a bit of warm water till you have a watery paste. Then, using your hands, massage your face with the formula in a circular motion. Do this for about 2-3 minutes and enjoy it. Relax while you do it! Rinse as usual and follow with your favorite moisturizer! Repeat weekly as needed.

Bright Whites

Who doesn’t want a smile that is super bright and radiates healthy teeth? I got this recipe from Dr. Oz himself..

In a small bowl, mix a little bit of baking soda with the juice of a freshly squeezed lemon. The mixture should bubble slightly.Using a cotton swab, wipe saliva and excess plaque from your teeth before brushing on the mixture. Leave the mixture on your teeth for a minute before gently brushing it off with a toothbrush.

Don’t leave the mixture on your teeth for any longer than a minute; the acid erode tooth enamel.

Grow Your Mane!

Try mixing 2 teaspoons of baking powder with 1/4 cup conditioner. Use this after you shampoo and apply the conditioning mixture as you would normally do. If you don’t use the entire mixture in one go, save some for next time. You can do this a few times a week, but make sure you also use a clarifying shampoo every other week (or once a month if your hair is dry) to avoid buildup. This will help your hair grow thick and beautiful!
Good Luck! Xxx
