I have said it many times and I stick to it, blush is the most important makeup a girl can have. A blush can transform any look, you can use it to contour, as an eyeshadow and even as lipstick. I wanted to share with you all my favorite drugstore blushes that really get a lot of uses from me. Which drugstore brand makes your favorite blushers?

I love face illuminators and coming from an oily skin girl it might even be weird since my face can look shiny naturally! There is however a very different glow that can be achieved with the right type of products and these babies are so beautiful I will definitely be getting a lot of use out of them. The bronze is so gorgeous to use on darker skin tones for an all over glow and on lighter skin to add a "bronzed look' by applying only where the sun hits and blending. The peach light is really lovely to use as a highlight or add a few drops to your moisturizer or foundation to add a glow to any look!

Me Encanta utilizar iluminadores y eso que yo ya tengo la cara brillosa, pero cuando utilizas los producos correctos el resultado es hermoso. Estos iluminadores de Revlon son preciosos y los voy a utilizar mucho pues los dos pueden ser utilizados de varias maneras por ejemplo el bronze light lo puedes usar en tu rostro completo si ya eres morenita, o en pieles mas clara para dar un look broceado. El peach light lo puedes mezclar con tu base o crema, y también se pueden usar para darle un brillo al escote también! Quieren ver un video de como yo los utilizo?

I'm so loving this new collection from revlon, I mean this is such a great idea. I love all the colors I purchased and look forward to buying more. This is such a unique way to paint your nails with vibrant, shiny shades that go on smoothly for flawless color then dry to light, irresistible fragrances. The collection comes in 24 scented colors. The scent lasts all day! Will you be trying out these scented nail polishes? 

Note: I'm currently battling a very bad cold and my nails are disgusting so don't mind the ugliness of them!

Drugstore Product Of the Week: Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain

I am loving these chubby crayons from Revlon, they are perfect for the colder months because they are like a Chapstick but with beautiful long lasting color. They come in 12 colors and unlike other stain these offer smoother and softer lips with just the right amount of stain. I had some help from my two beautiful daughters which happen to have different undertones then me to give you an idea on how the look on different skin colors.

Big Anniversary Giveaway!!!

Drugstore Find: Revlon Photoready Cream Blush

I love me some blush, its amazing to see how just the right amount of blush can change your whole look! Originally introduced in the Revlon Gucci Westman Escapism Collection, the Photo Ready Cream Blushes are a new addition to the Photo Ready family of products and are not limited edition. So if you haven't spotted the Escapism display in your area, don't worry. These should eventually make their way to the permanent wall display.

Typically, cream blushes have been known to be thick, super-emollient and best suited for dry skin ladies- however this new formulation is quite different. While the cream blush itself is boldly pigmented and vibrant in the pot, it goes on quite sheer with a light-as-air texture. So it was perfect for my oily skin.

The Most toned down Pinched, its a peach with shimmer. I use this most as a base for powder blush since this hardly shows on my cheeks. But it is a very beautiful color that I think would look great on any skin tone.

Coral Reef looked the most intimidating color, since it's pretty much neon. But when applied, the color sheers down to a nice, coral color that is natural looking, but screams Summer! I really love this color.

Flushed, is a bright fuchsia and it looks beautiful and natural on the skin (while still being noticeable).

The cream itself is quite hard, almost like a solid lip balm… I’m actually a huge fan of this, because it makes applying it much more fool-proof (you don’t have to worry about over applying, as it usually requires some building to achieve noticeable color). To apply it, I’ve been using just a plain blush brush or my fingers. I find that it really applies just like a powder, and it blends just as easily. And because it’s so light it doesn’t feel like you’re wearing anything at all.

It stayed on my skin until I removed my makeup but, If you want to really extend the wear, try adding a powder blush on top of the cream.

Drugstore Find: Revlon Colorstay Lipgloss

  I was never really open to buying makeup at drugstores, I personally love trying on the colors and feeling it and even asking for samples to take home and try. When I did start buying I couldn't belive all the amazing products you can actually find there, I’ve become pretty obsessed with flocking through the isles to find the newest grooviest products! Honestly, most of them don’t exactly take the cake, but luckily I have found some brands that are pretty good at making kick ass products! And Revlon is on the top of the list for me, I'm not sure if I have mentioned this product before on my blog, but now after trying soooo many lip stains and failing to find one that actually works, I realized this is the best lip gloss/lip stain duo ever! I love red lips, pink lips, orange lips and really any color that adds a bit of subtle drama to a face. But as much as I love makeup, I’m not a huge fan of makeup that moves from your lips to your teeth and every where but your smoocher! I tried about 5 different lip stains (some were available here and some weren’t) this weekend to see which one lasted the longest and I found time and time again the Revlon Colorstay Lipgloss is by far the best! It adds such great color to your lips and the formula works like a stain and lasts for hours after you apply it! It completely rocks!! Try it! Good Luck Xxx

Drugstore Find!

 I can spend hours in the beauty counters and even longer in the drugstore ones they always either have amazing sales or very cheap prizes.  I love discovering great lipstick or foundation without actually trying them on before. It's kinda like a treasure hunt! When given the choice to choose between lipstick and lip gloss, I can say with confidence, lip gloss is what I use almost every time, especially when I’m doing a nude lip! It’s no secret that I looooove nude lips! They are my favorite! Revlon makes some of my favorite lip glosses and all of their colors are great, not only their nude, but the Revlon Superlustrous Lip Gloss in Peach Petal is always in my makeup bag! If you like the NARS Turkish Delight, it’s very similar but a tad less pink and more peach, and half the prize!!! Good Luck Xxx
