My Easy Glam Makeup Look Using All My 2017 Favorite Makeup!

I am so happy to be back you guys, I took a quick pause on blogging so that I can get my house back to normal. My biggest challenge as a work from home mother of four is time managing and well the laundry was starting to pile, and the mess was just too much to handle. I also found that because the house was not to the standards I like to keep it in, my creativity was down.

A good o'l cleaning happened and bam! I finally edited a video, the main purpose of it apart from trying to dust some cobwebs off is to show case my favorite products of 2017. I will be playing around with different length and styles, please tell me which ones you guys like the best.

I Got To Try Dermablend New Flawless Creator Foundation Drops And These Are My Thoughts!

I get so excited to try new makeup, will I love it?, will I hate it?, will this product become a holy grail? These are all questions going thru my head right before the product touches my skin. I know, I know it just makeup but well makeup is a very important thing in my life. I got to try Dermablends new foundation and I'm just going to cut thru the chase and tell you I LOVE IT! I was so relieved, yes relieved when I applied this foundation looked in the mirror and saw perfection. I could end this review right here and leave it at that but I'll tell you more details about why its AMAZING.....

Heres some important details about Dermablends Flawless Creator Foundation Drops:

  • Contains 33% concentrated pigments for weightless, customizable coverage anyone can wear.
  • Uniquely silky texture is blendable, buildable and customizable.
  • Multi-use: water-free and oil-free foundation formula for seamless blendability when used alone or mixed with skincare.
  • Flawless Creator is formulated without parabens and is a vegan formula: no animal-derived ingredients or by-products.

I loved it because of all that and it simply made my skin look perfect, even my grandmother commented how great my skin looked. The wearability is like no other foundation I own, the first day I used it I wore it for 16 hours, yes you read that correctly 16!!! I looked at the mirror right before I jumped in the shower and to my surprise my face was still on, even my highlight was still barely but showing. Thats a big deal for us makeup lovers, especially for me, a mother of four two of them under two that are constantly touching my face, I'm kissing them all day, I sweat a lot, I have combination skin that starts to get oilier by mid day. These are all factors that play against the longevity and quality of my makeup, but on this day it was not even an issue.

As I demonstrated on this video I mixed it with my favorite sunscreen, my idea behind this was to make it more of a bb cream, and then I applied it solo on the areas I wanted to contour/bronze. Since then I have used it almost every way possible. However as my summer tan sadly is fading this shade is a little darker then my complexion so mixing it for a lighter coverage will definitely be my go to.

I also tried their translucent powder and a buffing brush, they both work to perfection.

Product Review: Smashbox Photo Finish Blemish Control Primer!

Smashbox have some of the best primers in the market, and this blemish control one is no different.  It an amazing oil free primer with two percent salicylic acid to combat acne and exfoliate and helps even out skin with time. I love its silky feel and my foundation goes on smoothly and evenly. I have to say that I have definitely been breaking out A LOT less but I cant say is necessarily from using this primer only as I am on another skin care products that might be helping too. I definitely recommend this primer for oily-acne prone skins or even rough skins looking for a good two in one product for smother skin.

Good Luck/ Buenas Suerte! Xxx

Drugstore Product Of The Week!

It is very rare that I buy a product like this, I am always looking for products that offer the maximum amount of antioxidants and benefits to the skin. Yet this moisturizer is really mundane, it offers absolutely no  antioxidants or promises of perfecting your skin. So why do I love it? well it doesnt break me out! That my friends is a pretty big deal to me right now and just enough for me to fall in love. Its the perfect moisturizer to for my sometimes normal, sometimes oily skin. It wears beautifully under my makeup and it DOESNT CLOG MY PORES!!!! I bought this originally to carry on my makeup kit, but after countless of money spent on moisturizers I decided to try it on myself, I wear this only in the day time under my favorite sunscreen. Good Luck Xxx

Bueno no me provoca acné! Buena suerte Xxx

Product Rave: Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation!

I feel kinda embarrassed admitting that I had never tried this foundation until now. And now I understand what all the hype was about, this foundation is absolutely beautiful it looks analyzing and it feels like air. I actually had to look in the mirror to confirm that I actually had foundation on, thats how light it feels on my skin. Easy to blend, build-able coverage, healthy luminous look, non-comedogenic, I don't know what else I can say about this foundation. It is on the pricey side which is really the only negative.

This foundation is oil-free and works perfectly in filling lines and pores. It won't clog your pores or wash you out. This foundation has won so many awards year after year and now I see why.

This foundation comes in 17 gorgeous shades so you are sure to find your perfect shade. I used my beauty blender sponge to apply it. I recommend this product to anyone and I have to admit I think I love it more then my Chanel foundation. Good Luck!

Purchased: Bloomingdales
Price: $59

Product Review: Urban Decay Naked Foundation!

In this picture I'm wearing my shade in 7.5 with no primer underneath or any concealer or powder.
I got very excited when I found out Urban Decay was going to be doing a foundation! I stopped by sephora got matched with the perfect shade and brought home. I've had it for two weeks now but like always I like to give my most honest review.

Left side unblended/ RIght side blended out.

My first impression was how liquid it is, My Shade is 7.5 and it matches my yellow skin perfectly! It goes on almost completely matte but then when it starts to settle into my skin it starts to look more luminous. It has a great coverage so I hardly use any concealer.

Optical Blurring Brush
This brush is perfection, if anything this brush has become my go to brush even to apply other foundations or my powders! It's soft but firm enough to control and it has some weight on the handle which is always a great thing. I haven't had any shedding and I have already washed it and it kept its shape.

Naked Skin Weightless Ultra Definition Liquid Makeup.
What Urban Decay Say:

Coverage without compromise. Our weightless formula blurs imperfections for a flawless finish that feels invisible, but looks professionally retouched.

What I Say: This foundation does what it promised. I love that they included anti oxidants like green tea and vitamin which promote collagen production so your skin appears smooth and supple. They have 18 shades and all color range so everyone is guaranteed to find their color. I personally love that its matte, I don't get shiny or feel the need to powder so this saves me a couple of steps. Once it settles into my skin it doesn't move or transfer to my clothes, this alone is a big deal!

Is it worth all the hype? YES!
Would I recommend this product? YES
Will I buy again? YES!
Did it break me out? NO
Did it replace my Chanel foundation? uhm NO! (different finishes)
How Much? $38
Where? Sephora or Urbandecay.com

Good Luck! Xxx

My Foundation!

Ok, so let me start off by saying that I have tried EVERY single brand out there in search of my holy grail foundation, some were ok others where just HORRIBLE, and others where great but broke me out. As I have mentioned before I have oily, acne-prone skin, and when I look for foundations I make sure they are specifically made for my skin type.

I was shopping in macy's one day and stopped by the CHANEL counter, a very lovely lady asked if I wanted to try their new foundation, my first question? is it oil free? she said YES, then I asked is a matte foundation? she said NO, I told her my skin gets supper oily so it might not be the right foundation for me but she insisted I tried it, and boy was I glad I gave it a try here's why I love this foundation:

Pros
  • You know how a lot of foundations claim to be like a second skin? I never felt they really were, but this time I am impressed because I do feel like this is it. The product feels very light on the skin yet gives medium coverage and evens out the skintone so well! It has a semi-matte finish, a bit luminous but not unnatural nor greasy. It is like my skin but better.
  • It smells very nice, like an expensive sun protection cream, I would say. Also the smell is light and disappears quickly so it shouldn’t bother most users.
  • It lasts extremely well on me and I don’t even powder it – easily 8-10 hours without getting shiny. Maybe it’s because this is a water based (hence, oil-free) foundation. I wasn’t expecting it to be so long lasting and am really impressed!
  • Packaging: a very compact, light plastic bottle that’s so much better than the heavy glass packaging Chanel usually uses! And getting the exact amount that you need is very easy thanks to the dropper top.
Cons
  •  It’s not cheap – $45 in the US, But I do think it’s worth it, really.
Little trick: you need to shake the bottle REALLY WELL before pouring the product out, or you’ll get some kind of greasy water. I am enjoying this foundation so much at the moment. My shade is B50 beige, Good Luck Xxx
