My Easy Glam Makeup Look Using All My 2017 Favorite Makeup!

I am so happy to be back you guys, I took a quick pause on blogging so that I can get my house back to normal. My biggest challenge as a work from home mother of four is time managing and well the laundry was starting to pile, and the mess was just too much to handle. I also found that because the house was not to the standards I like to keep it in, my creativity was down. 

A good o'l cleaning happened and bam! I finally edited a video, the main purpose of it apart from trying to dust some cobwebs off is to show case my favorite products of 2017. I will be playing around with different length and styles, please tell me which ones you guys like the best.

My Current Favorite Makeup Brushes For Personal And Professional Use!

As a makeup artist I can tell you how important makeup brushes are, and how difficult in can be to pick the right ones. Some makeup brushes can be very expensive or inexpensive but I will tell you this the price tag does not always reflect the quality of the brush you are buying. Mainly there are two kinds of brushes the natural hair or the synthetic and while there is good and bad in the two kinds I wanted to share with you what they are good for that way you can decide which kind to invest in.. 

Natural Vs. Synthetic

Natural:

• Natural hair has follicle that cling to powder pigments, allowing them to be evenly applied
• Lasts a lifetime if taken care of properly

Synthetic:

• Synthetic are best to use with cream and liquid formulas
• Synthetic can cost significantly less money

I wanted to keep the list very short and not go over the cons as this really is a very personal opinion. There are so many great choices when it comes to makeup brushes and you really don't know which ones work the best for you until you try them.

Urban Decay Electric Makeup Palette Review!

Urban Decay does it again, and this time with LOUD and really ELECTRIC colors! I will tell you I'm not one to go for really bright colors like these I always go for the neutrals, I can be boring like that. This palette however will be seeing a lot of me, the colors are irresistible and soooo smooth, highly pigmented and believe it or not very wearable! I cant wait to get Electric and create a few looks using this palette. What do you think about this palette is it a yay or nay for you? Unfortunately, this palette also has a negative. The four reddish shades (Slowburn, Savage, Jilted, and Urban) are technically not approved as "eye safe" yet in the US. I will defenetly keep that in mind and not use it in my clients to be safe but I will be taking the risk and hopefully my eyes don't become irritated. 

Esta paleta de Urban Decay esta PRECIOSA definitivamente electrica, los colores son super pigmentados y untan como mantequilla. Usualmente yo prefiero usar colores neutros, tiendo ha ser media aburrida en ese sentido pero esta paleta la estare usando mucho. Los colores son tos muy usables y estare creando unos tutoriales donde usare esta paleta. Como todo en la vida esta paleta también tiene su negativa 4 colores no son aprobados en los Estados Unidos para usar en el ojo, los colores slowburn, urban, savage, y jilted. Tu que crees de esta paleta la usarias?

I still remember the first NAKED palette I bought, I really thought there could never be anything better then the NAKED2 came out and I thought wow this one is even better, but NAKED3 is perfection! from the first color to the the last the colors are stunning, highly pigmented easy to blend and absolutely beautiful to look at. 

Todavía recuerdo la primera paleta NAKED que  compré, realmente pensé que nunca podría haber nada mejor entonces salió el NAKED2 y creo que ésta vaya aún mejor, pero NAKED3 es la perfección! desde el primer color a la la última los colores son impresionantes, altamente pigmentadas fácil para mezclar y absolutamente hermoso.

 Estoy enamorada absolutamente de esta paleta de sombras! Realmente estoy muy ansiosa de crear unos looks hermosos con ella. Si quieren saber aa diferencia entre esta paleta y Naked1 y 2 es que esto en realidad tiene unos colores muy singulares y son de color rosa.

My Can't Live Without/ No Puedo Vivir Sin Mi.... VOL 5

 Nothing is worst then creating a beautiful flawless makeup look to only have it ruined by sweat, and moisture. I am so in love with this setting spray this is actually the second bottle I own and I will always keep this in my makeup kit. It sets your makeup, and has color dispersing technology that keeps makeup even so it always look fresh, and never caked. This formula works excellent on all skin types, it helps control excess shine but keeps a healthy glow! All yo need to do is shake well, hold the bottle arms length and mist face 2-4 times. Nada es peor, crear un hermoso maquillaje impecable y que se te arruine por el sudor y la humedad. Estoy tan enamorada de este ajuste aerosol esto es en realidad la segunda botella que tengo y siempre voy a tener esto en mi kit de maquillaje. Se fija el maquillaje, y tiene la tecnología de dispersión del color que mantiene el maquillaje, incluso por lo que siempre luzca fresca, y nunca apelmazado. Esta fórmula funciona excelente en todos los tipos de piel, ayuda a controlar el brillo superior, pero mantiene un brillo saludable! Todo lo que hay que hacer es agitar bien, mantenga la longitud a brazos y exprima la botella en la cara 2-4 veces.

My 3 Most And Least Used Makeup Palettes/ Mis Paletas De Maquillaje Mas Y menos Usadas!

I must confess that in the process of doing this post for you guys I started to feel VERY embarrassed with the amount of money I have invested in makeup and I really only use a handful of them. I want to share with you my three most used makeup palette which unintentionally a three happen to be from the same brand. 

I have reviewed all of these so this is pretty much a recap on why these are my favorite, and no matter what I always reach out for them for one color or all. 

Debo confesar que en el proceso de hacer este post para ustedes comencé a sentirme muy incómoda con la cantidad de dinero que eh invertido en maquillaje y la verdad es que utiliso sólo un puñado de ellos. Quiero compartir con ustedes mi paleta de maquillaje  más utilizados.

He revisado todos estos por lo tanto, este es bastante más que un resumen de por qué estos son mis favoritos.

Urban Decay Original Naked Palette

This is in my opinion one of the best palettes ever made, I love every single color and the consistency and pigmentation are excellent. The only point i will take off is the packaging is not great to travel with because it doesn't close securely.

Esta es en mi opinión uno de los mejores paletas hecho jamás, me encanta todos los colores y la coherencia y la pigmentación son excelentes. Lo único que quisiera es el envase no es genial viajar porque no se cierra correctamente.

Urban Decay Naked Palette 2

When the naked 2 palette came out I was not very excited or rushed to try it out. I honestly was not expecting to like it at all. I was so wrong and this one is the second palette I had to buy because I finished some of these colors. I travel everywhere with this and use it on my clients all the time. One main reason this one ranks higher then the original naked is the palette seals shut and the packaging is easy to clean. 

Cuando el Naked 2 paleta salió no estaba muy emocionada o me apresure a probarlo. Honestamente, yo no esperaba que me gustara. Yo estaba tan mal, y esta es la segunda paleta tuve que comprar porque he terminado algunos de estos colores. Yo viajo por todas partes con esta y la utilizo en mis clientes todo el tiempo. Una de las principales razones esta me gusta más que la original es que cierra completamente y el embalaje es fácil de limpiar.

Urban Decay Naked Basics

When Urban decay came out with the Naked Basics I was so happy, its truly the perfect basic shades but the colors are so pigmented and beautiful. I like to call this my not so basic colors palette. The packaging is perfection, the so easy to travel with and so many looks can be created with these colors.

Cuando Urban decay salió con el Naked basics yo estaba tan feliz, es el perfecto tonos básicos, pero los colores son tan pigmentadas y hermoso. Me gusta llamar a esto mi no tan basica paleta de colores básicos. El embalaje es a la perfección,  fácil de viajar y los colores son muy versátil.

These are my least used makeup palette, and I need to make clear that its not a testament to their quality its just that for whatever reason I truly never use these.

88 Shimmer Palette

I'm sorry I didn't swatch these, as you can see there are 88 colors and none have a name. The colors are very pretty some more pigmented then others and its a great buy for anyone who likes makeup. I personally have only used this palette once! I will be trying to use it more since the colors are very nice. 

Lo siento que no haga hecho muestra, como se puede ver, existen 88 colores y ninguno tiene un nombre. Los colores son muy bonitos, algunos más pigmentados que otros y es una gran compra para cualquiera a quien le guste maquillaje. Yo personalmente sólo han usado esta paleta una vez! Voy a tratar de usar más ya que los colores son muy agradables.

Kat Von D True Love 

Ok so after swatting this palette I am mad at myself for not using it more. Six out of the eight colors are absolutely gorgeous. The second from the left wouldn't even swatch because its dried out :( and the black one is awful, the pigmentation and consistency are non existing. 

Bueno, después volver a ver esta paleta estoy enfadada conmigo mismo por no usarlo más. Seis de los ocho colores son absolutamente magníficas. El segundo desde la izquierda ni siquiera muestra porque su secado :( y el de color negro es horrible, la pigmentación y la coherencia  no existen.

 I cant wait to do a makeup look with this palate the colors look so pretty and very creamy. 

No puedo esperar para hacer un maquillaje con estos colores son tan lindos y muy cremoso.

Smashbox The Master Class Palette 

This palette would make an excellent gift for teenagers or anyone who likes to have the all in one palettes. I have used this one maybe one or twice and the colors are really nice. I don't use it more because the packaging sucks! It's terrible to travel with and the eyeshadows are loose and tend to pop out which makes for a super messy application. The cream colors (8) are really nice too.  This palette is made for personal use as for makeup artist it would be too messy to travel with.

Esta paleta podría ser un excelente regalo para los adolescentes o cualquier persona que le gusta tener todo en uno. Yo he utilizado esta uno tal vez una o dos veces y en la que los colores son muy bonitos. Yo no lo uso más, porque el envase es horrible! Es terrible para los viajes y la peletería estén sueltos y tienden a aparecer lo que hace que sea un super complicada aplicación. Los colores crema (8) son realmente muy bonito. Esta paleta es para uso personal como para artistas del maquillaje que sería demasiado complicado para viajar.

Flawless Face Routine/ Mi Rutina Perfecta!

Moving has pretty much drained me completely, so much that I had this post ready to upload a month ago and completely forgot about it. The good thing is that this is still my makeup routine today, whenever I do wear makeup. I going to break down each product and why I use it.

El proceso de mundarme a mi nueva casa me ha robado completamente mi tiempo, tanto que ni tiempo para sentarme en la computadora para compartir con ustedes. Lo bueno es que mi rutina tampoco a cambiado mucho y sigo usando esta misma rutina al maquillarme. Les voy a explicar cada paso y porque para mi es esencial usar estos productos.

Step 1: Primer- This step has truly been life changing for me, I honestly never really thought it made a big difference and most of the time just skipped it. Then after suffering from breakouts and the ugly discolorations it left behind I decided to give Smashbox Color Correcting primer a try and fell i love. It truly does help the foundation go on more smoothly and gives me a more even and bright finish. 

Paso 1: Primer- Este paso a cambiado mi vida por completo! Empece a usarlo después que comense a sufrir de acné, por mi tipo de piel según se me aclarava la pie del acne venian las horribles marcas que le anunciaban al mundo que hay hubo una espinilla. Decidi tratar este primer the Smashbox que se supone que ayude a corregir el tono de tu piel, y ayuda a que tu base se aplique como si fuese "airbrush". Me encanta y realmente veo la diferencia desde que empece a usarla.

Step 2: Chanel Perfection Lumiere- This foundation is truly my HG but this was not always the case.  If you have been following my blog since I first started you might remember the review I did for this foundation and I have to admit I didn't really like it that much I don't know what changed about this foundation or my skin but the first time I used it I wore it once and never used it again. Then one day walking around Macy's I stopped by the Chanel counter and bought it again, only to find out I love it oh so much. It really gives me an airbrush finish and covers all my imperfections with just a small pump. I recommend this for Normal To Oily skin type. 

Paso 2: Chanel Perfection Lumiere- Esta base es honestamente mi favorita, me ayuda a coregir mis imperfecciones sin hacerme ver como si tuviera una mascara puesta. Mi piel tiende a ser mas grasosa en el verano pero esta me ayuda a mantener mi cara matte sin brillo durante el dia completo. Le recomiendo esta base a personas con pieles normal a grasosas.

Step 3: Concealer- This step is so important for a flawless look, and heres where I'm not sold on just one product just yet. I really do like Bobbi Brown concealer so much that its empty and thats a lot to say for me. It doesnt crease and it covers beautifully but I cant describe what but something is missing for me. I'll know when and if I ever find my HG concealer until then I really prefer this one over the other ones I've tried. 

Paso 3: Corrector- Este paso es muy importante para conseguir un final perfecto, yo aun no puedo decir que tenga un corrector perfecto pero este de Bobbi Brown es muy bueno y lo mas importante es que no se corre.

Step 4: Urban Decay All Nighter Spray- Love this spray so much I buy it in bulk, I have a travel size on my bag one in my makeup station, and one on my professional case. I don't know how one product can make such a difference but it does. I use it to set my makeup, to wet my brushes before applying eyeshadow and even to tame frizzy hair! 

Paso 4: Urban Decay All Nighter Spray- Amo este spray tanto que lo compro en cantidad. Hace un trabajo excelente en fijar tu maquillaje para que te dure el dia completo y sin grumos. Tambien lo uso para aplicarme sombra, lo uso al final en ves de usar polvos que solo opacan mi rostro.

Product Rave: Urban Decay Basics Palette!

 I will admit that when I first heard Urban Decay was coming out with another "Naked" palette my first thought was over kill! I mean don't get me wrong I LOVE both naked palettes and they get the most use out of any palettes I own, but I just didn't think they could come up with anything better. I'm not too proud to admit that they proved me wrong I got my hands on this palette and  I am so obsessed!! I love it I think it's really brilliant and can't believe this wasn't actually their first to come out. This palette is really basic and has all the colors you need to create any look from natural, glam, and dramatic. I personally love every single color five out of the six colors are matte and the color Venus is a shimmery white . The colors go on beautifully and are highly pigmented. I love this palette and the size is perfect to carry along with me on my travels. Good Luck Xxx

My Top 10 Eyeshadows!

 I did my top 10 eyeshadows over a year ago and thought it was time to update my list. I am really into golds and browns right now, but love to trow in some colors from time to time when feeling bored. If you are starting to build your kit either for personal use or professional use I really suggest getting some of these colors as I find them universally flattering for all skin types. Product Review: Urban Decay Naked Foundation!

In this picture I'm wearing my shade in 7.5 with no primer underneath or any concealer or powder.

I got very excited when I found out Urban Decay was going to be doing a foundation! I stopped by sephora got matched with the perfect shade and brought home. I've had it for two weeks now but like always I like to give my most honest review.

Left side unblended/ RIght side blended out.

My first impression was how liquid it is, My Shade is 7.5 and it matches my yellow skin perfectly! It goes on almost completely matte but then when it starts to settle into my skin it starts to look more luminous. It has a great coverage so I hardly use any concealer.

Optical Blurring Brush

 This brush is perfection, if anything this brush has become my go to brush even to apply other foundations or my powders! It's soft but firm enough to control and it has some weight on the handle which is always a great thing. I haven't had any shedding and I have already washed it and it kept its shape.

Naked Skin Weightless Ultra Definition Liquid Makeup. 

What Urban Decay Say:

Coverage without compromise. Our weightless formula blurs imperfections for a flawless finish that feels invisible, but looks professionally retouched.

What I Say: This foundation does what it promised. I love that they included anti oxidants like green tea and vitamin which promote collagen production so your skin appears smooth and supple. They have 18 shades and all color range so everyone is guaranteed to find their color. I personally love that its matte, I don't get shiny or feel the need to powder so this saves me a couple of steps. Once it settles into my skin it doesn't move or transfer to my clothes, this alone is a big deal! 

Is it worth all the hype? YES!

Would I recommend this product? YES 

Will I buy again? YES!

Did it break me out? NO

Did it replace my Chanel foundation? uhm NO! (different finishes)
