Valentines Day 2018 Date Night Inspired Makeup Look Using Only One Eyeshadow Palette!

 Happy February my beautiful people, I am so happy to finally have a video up for you guys. If you follow me on Instagram (you should be) then you saw that I lost almost 4 hours worth of makeup tutorials! Completely erased and as you can imagine I was very upset, but the surprising thing is I was only upset for a few minutes. After that I was just back to business, I tried to recoup as much as I could save and here is this super fun makeup tutorial. 

So there is this "challenge" its been around for at least a year now, where the challenge is to create a makeup look using all the colors of one palette. The real challenge of course is to come up with a wearable look, and my friends I think I accomplished that! Would you agree? 

The Huda Beauty Rose Gold Edition comes with 18 colors, the palettes has mattes, chrome, pressed pearls, and metal eyeshadows. I was very impressed at how most of the eyeshadows blended do nicely together. The pressed pearls and chrome were more tricky to blend but that is to be expected with the formula. 

The staying power was very impressive, the above picture was taken 4 hours after I had recorded the look and everything was still very much set. For people with hooded eyes, this is very rare that the colors don't start to blend in with one another and crease.

My Favorite Pantone 2018 Color Of The Year In Makeup And Beauty!

I was so happy when Pantone announced Violet as the color of the year of 2018, its really a beautiful color and looks great on clothing and makeup!  Natasha Denona Eyeshadow Palette #28

I don't own any of Natasha Denona palettes, and they are in my list of I want to try but why so expensive tho? This palette sells for a whooping $239 and its highly rated. The reason I love palettes like this is you get the whole family of purple and some gorgeous blues here so you can really get creative when creating looks. One of the hardest shade to create for makeup artist is purples, getting the right shades can be tricky but from the reviews I hear that Natasha Denona got it right! 

The shade Electric Violet is almost if not the exact shade of the color of the year.

Violet Voss Hashtag Palette 

Don't feel like spending all your dough in a makeup palette? yeah me neither. The Violet Voss Hashtag palette is a beautiful warm palette with red undertones in all the shades. The color Life is very close to the color of the year and its only $45 for 20 colors.

One of the funnest way to incorporate the color of the year is with Mascara, and the Maybelline Volum' Express is really nice! Created by the beautiful and talented Shayla @makeupbyshayla its available in most drugstores. I have the black one and assuming the formula is the same the wand does a beautiful job at opening up and lengthening your lashes.

Any of these products will make a great addition in your makeup collection and will allow you to incorporate the color of 2018 to your looks. If I had to pick just one, I would probable get one of the eyeshadow palette since I can create endless looks with either one. How will you incorporate the color of the year to your looks?

Stila Sending My Love Gift Set Review!

Stila's sending my love gift set is beautiful and well made, I love the colors they used for the package too! The gift set includes everything you need for a beautiful makeup look, five eyeshadows in one palette, a blush, bronzer and highlighter in the other. A lipgloss and eyeliner, I personally love that the eyeshadows are separate from the face powders, this makes it more travel friendly. This also solves the dilemma, of wanting to only pick on or the other to bring with you ;) 

Note: My camera is acting up and is washing out most of the colors, they are actually a lot more pigmented then this.... 

Too Faced Chocolate Bar!

I will admit it, I was not planning on purchasing this palette at all! I don't know why but I think after seeing it so much on instagram I decided I was not going to follow trend.... After walking around sephora for an hour I just kept coming back to it and like chocolate I couldn't resist! The colors are beautiful and very wearable on any skin color.  I love having a good mix of neutrals mattes and shimmery. Oh and the smell is intoxicating I will be using this baby a lot!

Tengo que admitir que cuando salió esta paleta no quería comprarla, y es que la vi tanto en Instagram que medio me aburro de ella. El Domingo pasado después de horas de andar en Sephora y como el chocolate no me pude resistir y la compre. Los colores son bellos, muy usable con una selección de tonos matte o con brillos. Y que les digo del aromo intoxicante de chocolate huele tan rico que me lo quiero comer, voy a darle mucho huso a esta hermosura! 

Illamasqua Reflection Palette!

I have been waiting in reviewing this palette because I wanted to do a look with it and give you a better visual of the beautiful colors but I'm currently growing out my brows after I accidentally waxed a whole piece of it off (hint: I look cray cray). I love this cream eyeshadow palette, the colors are beautiful wearable and long lasting. The consistency is amaizing so creamy and smooth. I can't wait to play around with this palette some more! 

Eh estado esperando para darles la revisión de esta paleta, porque yo quería hacer un look con él y darles una mejor visual de los hermosos colores, pero yo actualmente estoy dejando crecer la cejas (Pista: Me miro como loca). Me encanta esta paleta de sombra de ojos crema, los colores son hermosos portátil y duradero. La consistencia es increíble muy cremoso y suave. No puedo esperar para jugar con esta paleta un poco más!

Product Review/ Revise De Producto: Anastasia Beverly Hills Lavish Palette!

I have become obsessed with Anastasia Beverly Hills products lately! I have always loved her brow products and have been using them since they first came out. After trying her makeup line I'm so in love. My love for her palettes are a combination of not only beautiful colors, and beautiful packaging, it's also the unbelievable price tag and all the extra goodies she adds.

Después de probar su linea de maquillaje estoy en el amor. Mi amor por sus paletas son una combinación de colores no solo es bonito, y la hermosa embalaje, también es el increíble precio, y todos los extras que añade.

If opening packages is your thing, you will feel like its christmas every time you open this box, it includes a mirror and a easy to follow step by step guide to create several show stopping looks, and with a double sided brush, which happens to be really nice. A travel size covet waterproof eyeliner in noir, a mini perfect eyebrow pencil in dark brown, and a full sized Anastasia Beverly Hills tweezer.

Cream is a matte beige. The shadow is a bit powdery but it works well as a transition or highlight/Es un beige mate. La sombra funciona así como una transición o resaltar.

Antique is a shimmery dark mauve. The shade is smooth but requires a bit of layering for full pigmentation. The shade is cool toned with silver shimmer/ Es una purpurina malva oscuro. La sombra es suave, pero requiere un poco de capas de pigmentación. La sombra es fresco con tonos plata.

Rum Cake is shimmery copper. The shade is rich in color payoff and soft in texture/ Es purpurina cobre. La sombra es rico en color suave en beneficios y textura.

Moss is an olive green. This shimmery shade is warm toned and very pigmented/ Es un verde oliva. Esta sombra es purpurina y tonos cálidos muy pigmentadas.

Truffle is a shimmery reddish brown. It has good color payoff and works better with a blending brush/La purpurina es marrón rojizo. Tiene buen color beneficios y funciona mejor con un pincel la mezcla.

Ballet is shimmery nude pink. This shade is soft but requires a lot of layering for full pigmentation. It can be a bit powdery/Es purpurina nude rosa. Este tono es suave pero requiere una gran cantidad de capas de pigmentación. Puede que sea un poco polvosa. 

Orange Soda is a matte pale orange. This shade is perfect as a transition color and blends out very well. It is a tiny bit powdery but has good color payoff/ Es un mate naranja pálido. Este tono es como una transición perfecta color y mezclas muy bien. 

Sienna is a matte reddish brown. It has great pigmentation and works best with a blending brush or pencil brush/ Es un color marrón rojizo mate. Tiene una gran pigmentación y funciona mejor con una brocha tipo pincel.

Pink Sapphire is a darkened fuchsia. This is shimmery shade has a buttery texture and great pigmentation. My favorite shade in the palette/ Es un oscuro color fucsia. Este es purpurina sombra tiene una textura mantecosa y gran pigmentación. Mi favorito en la paleta sombra!

Black Diamond is a black with multi-colored shimmer, great texture and pigmentation. It's very easy to blend/ Es un negro con brillo. Gran textura y la pigmentación. Es muy fácil de combinar.

This palette overall is perfect, I truly love it and for the unbeatable price it would make a great christmas  or birthday gift that anyone would love and feel great to receive. In my opinion the tweezers alone are worth the $38. I will be creating a few looks with this palette and will share it with you soon! 

Esta paleta en general es perfecta, me encanta de verdad, y por el precio sería un gran regalo de cumpleaños o navidad que a todas les gustaría recibir. En mi opinión las pinzas solo valen la pena los $38. Pienso crear unos cuantos looks con esta paleta y lo comparta con usted pronto!

My Top 10 Eyeshadows!

 I did my top 10 eyeshadows over a year ago and thought it was time to update my list. I am really into golds and browns right now, but love to trow in some colors from time to time when feeling bored. If you are starting to build your kit either for personal use or professional use I really suggest getting some of these colors as I find them universally flattering for all skin types. Review Time: Maybelline 24 Hour Color Tattoo Eyeshadow!

  I was strolling around Walmart when I came across these eyeshadows. What caught my eyes at first was the packaging, and so I decided to pick up two out of the three colors they had available, and boy am I glad I did!! I went home and played around with the them a little but it wasn't until I decided to really give them a try and wore (pomegranate punk) alone with no other eye makeup and spent the day running around, I even cleaned my kitchen! and at the end of the night.... absolutely PERFECT, no creasing, no running and no fading! I was so happy that I went out the next day in search of the other 8 shades. I am so happy with this purchase, they are by far the best drugstore makeup I have bought in a LONG time. I cant recommend these enough.

Pros:

• Great staying power. I wore these alone, no primer or powder on top and they did not move at all. 
• Versatile you can use them as a base for your powder e/s or alone.
• Price!! Less then $10 and you could even get them cheaper if you get coupons!
• Great Packaging
• A lot of color Options
• Very Pigmented, the colors go on true to what they look like on the pot.
