Drugstore Skincare Product Of The Week: Nivea Moisturizing Body Wash Care Almond Oil Hibiscus Scent.

Nivea is one of my favorite brands for drugstore body care, their  body products are hydrating and just the perfect amount of scent. I started using the almond oil and hibiscus scent moisturizing body wash, and my skin loves it!  

It is formulated with Nivea's Hydra IQ Technology and Almond Oil, to intensely moisturize your skin, but without the greasy feel. Priced under $5, I have compared it to more expensive body washes and if not equally better its very close. 

What I like to do for extra dewy soft skin is to apply it with just my hands, like a lotion. Then I rinse it with cool to cold water. I pat dry my skin. I come out and hydrate with lotions and or oil to lock in the moisture. My skin has been so soft and hydrated this winter, I am so happy to have a budget friendly routine that works for my super dry skin.

The winter months wreak havoc on my my hands they get so dry, rough and start to get darker in the knuckles. I have tried everything in the market to see what helps and I'm often left unsatisfied. I wanted to share with you all the 5 products that I use to heal and repair my dry hands.

Drugstore Product Of The Week: OGX Anti-Hair Fall Out!

The inevitable has happened and I have a few bold spots to prove it. Motherhood has such a big impact on our lives and body, one of my least favorite is defined hair loss. Everywhere I go I leave a small pile of hair behind, you find it in the chairs I sit, the couch, bed, etc. I am currently doing everything I know to help new hair grow back and also stop my hair from falling out any more. 

I found this shampoo while shopping  in Target and decided to give it a try. I have only been using it for a two weeks now but I really love it! It leaves my hair feeling fuller and healthy. Time will tell if it actually helps with the growth but it's definitely a keeper!

Drugstore Product Fail Of The Week: Sonia Kashuk Sunkissed Pressed Powder!

I hope I'm not the only that has ever purchased a product because of how cute it looked.... or in this case because it has my first name initial on it. I have to be honest I was not expecting to love this product but I have always had a good experience with Sonia Kashuk's product line so I wasn't expecting it to suck either. Well it pretty much just looks cute. Its a pressed powder not a bronzer I was clear on that but still it just has NO PIGMENT! I tried a brush, sponge, my fingers and I can't see this product doing anything for my face not even the gold pigments show.

Espero no ser la única que ha comprado un producto debido a lo linda que se ve... o en este caso porque tiene mi inicial en él. Tengo que ser honesta, no esperaba  amar este producto pero siempre he tenido una buena experiencia con la línea de productos de Sonia Kashuk así que no esperaba  tampoco que fuera malo. Bueno es bastante malo, no es un bronceador estaba clara, si no un polvo de retoco pero aun así no tiene pigmento. Traté de aplicarmela con un pincel, esponja, mis dedos y no puedo ver este producto haciendo nada para mi cara ni el de pigmentos de oro se ve en mi cara.

 I went as far as trying it on a lighter and a darker skin tone than mine to see if it was just not working on me but I couldn't see it their skin either. I want to know if anyone has ever tried this powder and what was their experience. I guess thats what I get for buying something for its looks and not doing research before hand. 

Pense que quizás era por mi tono de piel, pero después de intentarlo con pieles mas clara y una mas oscura y obtener el mismo resultado ya estoy convencida de que el producto no es bueno!

I am so curious to know which products did you buy only based on how it looked and did it sucked or was it a win win?

Drugstore Product Of The Week: Sonia Kashuk Makeup Brushes!

 

I'm always on the hunt for great brushes and if they are affordable even better! I love Sonia Kashuk's makeup line and these brushes are awesome!

Overall I think these are great brushes, I love the handles they feel and look so luxurious and they are shed free which is always a must. I'm happy with my purchase and recommend them to anyone looking for mid price brushes with a high price quality feel! 

En conclucion me encatan estas broshas son echas de muy buena calidad y especialmente me encata las manillas pues la hacen lucir mas elegantes. Las recomiendo a cualquier persona que este en busca de una brosha media economica pero con calidad de la mejor!

Boom!

I get so excited when big designers collaborate with stores like Target and H&M, it's nice to see what they come out with. I do have to admit that a lot of times is really disappointing, I mean I know they are designing it to be more cost effective. But sometimes the material are so horrible they might as well give it for free! 

Sunday was the big day Phillip Lim For Target was coming out, needless to say I was up and ready to hit target and help them open the store so I can get a hold of all the items on my wish list. Then as I'm approaching the parking lot I have the brilliant idea to check my bag, to find out I left my wallet back home! FML!!! Anyway long list of curse words escape my mouth as I drove back home to get my wallet. 

I made it inside the store at 8:35 and ran to the accessories first and all but one bag and two scarves was left! I grabbed them and then shopped around for clothes. I have to say that over all everything that I personally purchased looked really well made and the material used felt nice on the skin. I will try to do the next few posts with the items I bought. This sweater was one of the first things I grabbed, they were flying off the racks. I decided to pair it up with a flowy leather skirt and strappy shoes for a more "dressy" look.  Did you purchase anything from the Phillip Lim For Target line?

Me siento tan emocionado cuando grandes diseñadores colaborar con tiendas como Target y H&M, es agradable ver lo que sale. Tengo que admitir que muchas veces es realmente decepcionante, me refiero a que saben que están diseñando para ser más eficaces en función de los costos. Pero, a veces, el material es tan horrible que bien podría dar gratis!

El Domingo fue el día grande de Phillip Lim para Target, no hace falta decir que estaba en marcha y listo a la hora de fijar el objetivo, con el fin de ayudarles a abrir la tienda para que me pueda dar una mano de todo de mi lista de deseos. A continuación, como me estoy acercando el aparcamiento tengo la brillante idea de comprobar mi bolsa, para saber si me deja mi cartera de casa. De todos modos larga lista de maldición palabras escapar de mi boca mientras conducía de vuelta a casa a buscar mi billetera.

Me he hecho dentro de la tienda en 8:35 y se fuy corriendo a  accesorios pero una bolsa y dos bufandas se dejó! Me agarró y, a continuación, mostramos todo para la ropa. He de decir que de todo lo que eleji  realmente se siente muy bien hecho y el material utilizado estaba bien sobre la piel. Lo intentaré en los próximos posts con los elementos que compré. Este jersey es una de las primeras cosas que yo me agarré, que estaban volando de las estanterías. He decidido a emparejar con una falda de cuero y zapatos sexys! ¿Compro usted de la linea de Phillip Lim para Target ?

A little side story on this purse, I was so excited to at least have one bag from the collection that I didnt even bother inspecting it! When I got home I noticed that the long straps where missing!!! I went back to see if they had found it, I mean what kind of person steals bag straps? Anyway they didnt have it and that made me very sad because it limits the amount of time I will actually use it :( but its still very cute!

Drugstore Find: Yes to Cucumbers Eye Makeup Remover Pads

 As much as I love a smokey eye or my super black eye liner makeup, I hate the taking it off part! Some removers are so harsh on your eyes or too gentle that they don't remove any makeup at all. And being obsessed with having "perfect" skin like I am, means I don't rub my eyes no matter what! I rather leave the makeup on then to cause any premature aging or break my lashes, I know extreme but I can't help it. Well luckyly I found an eye makeup remover pads that were made for me! This pads are gentle on your eyes so they don't sting, I even tried them with my contacts on.  They have aloe vera, chamomile and cucumber all soothing and super good for skin ingredients. And most important they remove my eye makeup with out the excessive rubbing. These are definitely a keeper! Good Luck Xxx

I have to confess that I was not one to be switching and trying out a lot of different products, except for makeup. If something works I keep it until they either stop working or the company stops making it. Since I started blogging I have become more open to trying out new things, And boy am I sooooo glad! I went to Target the other day to purchase a few things, when I decided to check out this yes to carrots Nourishing Body Lotion. They have a open bottle there so you can pump some out and try. So I did and immediately knew this would be a keeper. With the cold weather coming I will need as much moisture on my my skin as I can get and this will do the trick! I love that its not greasy or sticky, its immediately absorbed  into my skin just leaving a sweet clean smell and super soft skin! What I love about these product is that its 99% natural, and nothings better then that. Drugstore Find: Boots Extracts

You guys have probably noticed by now that I'm pretty much obsessed with avocado, not only is it yummy to eat but it makes the best hair and face masks. I was shopping around target looking for my favorite boots product when I came across their display of body butters... I reached for the avocado and the cocoa butter but decided on avocado. Now I can't rave about this product enough, it smells clean nothing too overpowering so you can still wear you favorite perfumes, it feels amazing on my skin, its very nourishing and I immediately felt my skin smoother and softer, and even better its not greasy so this will be my all year round skin treat. I definitely recommend this and look forward to trying out the other ones as well. Good Luck Xxx

Review Time: Rimmel Scandaleyes Mascara

I'm not to crazy about trying new mascaras, I find one that I like and I stick to it. I was shopping around target and came across this mascara and decided to give it a try. I don't know how to put this nicely but it SUCKS! it's messy, I couldn't even notice that I had any mascara on! This is probably the shorter review I have done in a while and its simply due to the fact that there is nothing positive to say about this product. Good Luck Xxx

Drugstore Find: Bio Oil

 Stretch marks suck!! I started getting them around my hips when I was only 14 and I remember then freaking out but not really doing anything about it. Stretch marks occurs when you gain or loose weight rapidly, pregnancy or even hereditary. There are no know treatments that can remove them completely but the sooner you treat the better your chances are to make them less noticeable. So after noticing some lines on my chest (yup, stretch marks), I decided I had to do something about them. So in my search for a treatment, I started using Bio Oil in the mornings and at night after I showered—I literally lather it on and my skin has never looked more even toned and beautiful. So yes, I now go through a bottle a month at least, but I found it really helped fight my stretch marks (if they’re still there, I can’t see them anymore!), of course, I would recommend it on new stretch marks and immediately once you see them forming the older ones are still very much noticeable :( Definitely a product every woman, pregnant or not, should invest in! Your skin will be so even and beautiful, you will love the way it looks! Good Luck Xxx

Hand Food!

It’s official! I have found a hand cream that puts the rest of my hand creams to shame!! The other day, I was shopping for christmas gifts when in line to pay I noticed a lady in front of me was commenting on how soft her hands felt from using a sample cream in the store, being the curious freak that I am asked which one in the store, she told me, and touched my hand so I can feel hers. I couldn’t believe how soft they were–like seriously soft! I’m generally a bit skeptic when I try new products, which I then put under HEAVY criticism and I have to say, this product is AWESOME! It seriously makes your hands velvety soft and keeps them soft for several washes! I love that it’s not greasy and has ingredients like macadamia oil, Shea butter and marshmallow! It also comes in a mini-size perfect for travel! LOVE this product!! I now take it everywhere with me!! Try it and let me know what you think, I bought one for my mom and she loved it!
