I Got To Try Dermablend New Flawless Creator Foundation Drops And These Are My Thoughts!

I get so excited to try new makeup, will I love it?, will I hate it?, will this product become a holy grail? These are all questions going thru my head right before the product touches my skin. I know, I know it just makeup but well makeup is a very important thing in my life. I got to try Dermablends new foundation and I'm just going to cut thru the chase and tell you I LOVE IT! I was so relieved, yes relieved when I applied this foundation looked in the mirror and saw perfection. I could end this review right here and leave it at that but I'll tell you more details about why its AMAZING.....

I loved it because of all that and it simply made my skin look perfect, even my grandmother commented how great my skin looked. The wearability is like no other foundation I own, the first day I used it I wore it for 16 hours, yes you read that correctly 16!!! I looked at the mirror right before I jumped in the shower and to my surprise my face was still on, even my highlight was still barely but showing. Thats a big deal for us makeup lovers, especially for me, a mother of four two of them under two that are constantly touching my face, I'm kissing them all day, I sweat a lot, I have combination skin that starts to get oilier by mid day. These are all factors that play against the longevity and quality of my makeup, but on this day it was not even an issue. 

As I demonstrated on this video I mixed it with my favorite sunscreen, my idea behind this was to make it more of a bb cream, and then I applied it solo on the areas I wanted to contour/bronze. My Review: 

This peeling puff is the bomb you guys, I have purchased this like three times and its so worth it. My skin is left exfoliated, looking brighter, clearer, smother and its so simple to use. 

I love using eye masks, I have puffy under eye bags that are a pain in my butt. I fin that when I use under eye masks they do improve and the concealer wears more smooth and I need less product. One brand I recently used and really liked was Wish Formula panda eye essence. My eyes definitely looked fighter and less swollen after 30 minutes of wearing this mask. 

Lips need love too, I purchased this pack of lip masks from Homegoods for $2.99!!

Finally after exfoliating your skin, you need to hydrate it and give it some nutrients! I love applying sheet masks after I exfoliate so that my skin can absorb all the goodness. 

This one from Peach And Lilly is really nice, I love how my skin feels after I use it and I don't have to rinse it off because it wears great under makeup.

Product Rave: Color Switch Solo

I first saw a video of the Color Switch on Instagram and my first thought was of disappointment of myself for not thinking of creating something like this. As a makeup artist I go thru a lot of makeup brushes. I have purchased many brush cleaners but they require that you wet the brush and that is not very helpful at all. I purchased one at the IMATS and now I wish I would have purchased a few more since they were like 40% off!

Como un artista del maquillaje voy a través de un montón de pinceles de maquillaje. The way that the Color Switch works is simple after applying your first color to your eyelids, swirl the brush a few times on the sponge and boom your bush is clean and now can be used to apply a different color! 

La forma en que funciona el Color Switch es simple después de aplicar el primer color a tus párpados, mueve el cepillo varias veces sobre la esponja y ya está limpio y ahora puede ser utilizado para aplicar un color diferente.

As you can see on this napkin (bad lighting) I apply a very pigmented bright purple, then cleaned it up with the Color Switch and then rubbed the napkin on the bottom, as you can see the napkin is clean and clear of any product, the sponge really picks up all the pigments from your brush! 

What is your take on this Color Switch sponge, is it a must have or skip? 

Como se puede ver en esta servilleta (mala iluminación) aplique un color muy pigmentado brillante púrpura, luego roce mi brocha en el Color Switch y luego frotó la servilleta en la parte inferior, como se puede ver la servilleta es limpia y clara de cualquier producto, la esponja realmente recoge todos los pigmentos de tu cepillo!

Makeup Haul: MUG Eyeshadows And Pigments!

I have been anxiously waiting to get my hands on some MUG eyeshadows, more specifically their most popular ones like cocoa bear that was always sold out but I was finally able to order the 9-eyeshadow starter kit and two pigments. I received my package incomplete which was very disappointing but really loved the ones that I did receive, I emailed them to let them know of my missing eyeshadows and they said they will take care of it and almost two weeks later I received the rest of my order. The eyeshadows are absolutely beautiful and are everything I was hoping for, highly pigmented, very smooth and long lasting. I love that they fit perfectly in my MAC pro palettes so no need to go out and buy other ones, the pigments are beautiful and I will definitely be purchasing more. Have you tried any makeup geek makeup, which one is your favorite? 

Estoy tan contenta que por fin me decidí tratar estas sombras de Makeup Geek. Resivi mi orden hace ya tres semanas pero llego incompleta y estaba esperando tener todas las sombras para darles mi opinión sobre la calidad de esta marca. Definitivamente son súper pigmentadas, se aplica suave y uniforme, y no se corren. Los colores que vinieron en el kit que compre son preciosos y van con todo tonos de piel. Tambien ordenes dos pigmentos que tambien me encantaron. Estoy muy contenta con mi compra y voy a ordenar mas sombras y pigmentos, también me gusto que las sombras caben perfectamente en las paletas de MAC.

Urban Decay Electric Makeup Palette Review!

Urban Decay does it again, and this time with LOUD and really ELECTRIC colors! I will tell you I'm not one to go for really bright colors like these I always go for the neutrals, I can be boring like that. This palette however will be seeing a lot of me, the colors are irresistible and soooo smooth, highly pigmented and believe it or not very wearable! I cant wait to get Electric and create a few looks using this palette. What do you think about this palette is it a yay or nay for you? Unfortunately, this palette also has a negative. The four reddish shades (Slowburn, Savage, Jilted, and Urban) are technically not approved as "eye safe" yet in the US. I will defenetly keep that in mind and not use it in my clients to be safe but I will be taking the risk and hopefully my eyes don't become irritated. 

Esta paleta de Urban Decay esta PRECIOSA definitivamente electrica, los colores son super pigmentados y untan como mantequilla. Usualmente yo prefiero usar colores neutros, tiendo ha ser media aburrida en ese sentido pero esta paleta la estare usando mucho. Los colores son tos muy usables y estare creando unos tutoriales donde usare esta paleta. Como todo en la vida esta paleta también tiene su negativa 4 colores no son aprobados en los Estados Unidos para usar en el ojo, los colores slowburn, urban, savage, y jilted. Tu que crees de esta paleta la usarias?

I have seen this amazing product around for a while now, I decided to try it and boy am I a happy girl! I seriously cant rave this product enough its really a must have on every ones makeup kit. I personally like to start with my foundation and do my eyes last, as careful as I am there are always some fallouts and i always end up having to retouch my concealer. Another advantage to using these shields is that it helps you create sharp clean lines, and makes achieving a cat eye a lot easier. I will definitely be purchasing more of these and start using them with my clients as well. Have you tried Shadow Shields?  

He visto este producto asombroso alrededor por un tiempo ahora, decidí intentarlo y soy una chica feliz! En serio no puedo delirar este producto lo suficientemente realmente una debe tener esto en todos los kit de maquillaje. Personalmente me gusta empezar con mi base y finalizar con mis ojos, por mas  cuidado siempre hay algún derrumbe y siempre termino teniendo que retocar mi corrector. Otra ventaja de usar estos escudos es que te ayuda a crear afiladas líneas limpias y hace un ojo de gato mucho más fácil lograr. Definitivamente comprare más de estos y empezar a usarlos con mis clientes también. ¿Has probado estos escudos de sombra?

Kiss Your Dry Lips Goodbye!

This is the most hydrating lip therapy I have yet to try, I have SUPER dry lips and this right here keeps them soft and chapped free. For added bonus its a cute rosy tint that adds just the right amount of color to my lips. I bought a few to have around my house to apply on my girls and I carry one in my kit to apply on my clients so there lips are nice and smooth for when I apply lipstick. Have you tried this lip therapy yet? 

Este es el brilla labio mas hidratante que yo eh usado y eh tratado muchos! Tengo labios super resecos y este hermoso tratamiento de Vaseline Lipt Therapy con tonos rosa me mantiene mis labios hidratados y libres de resequedad. Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch

 I purchased this primer after reading so many great reviews of it online my first time trying it I was ready to give this a bad review. I must have applied too much because as soon as I started to blend my foundation it started to flake. I was ready to return it but decided to give it a second try. The product is a siliconey pink paste with very little smell. It glides on with your fingertips and the less you use the better. Heavily applied it can ball up when you layer your makeup on. I really liked the results my skin looked smooth and airbrushed but after five hours it started to move like crazy and I looked super shiny.  I did my grandmothers makeup for her birthday and this was so beautiful on her face and really helped smooth out her lines. Overall I think this product is perfect if you have normal to dry skin type which is why I decided to keep it to use on my clients instead. 

Compré esta base después de leer tantas grandes revisiones de ella en línea mi primera vez intentándolo estaba listo para dar a esto una revisión mala. Me debo haber puesto demasiado porque tan pronto como comencé a mezclar mi fundación comenzó a desconchar. Estaba listo para devolverlo, pero decidí darle un segundo intento. El producto es una pasta rosada tipo silicona con muy poco olor. Se desliza en con sus yemas del dedo y menos usa el mejor resultado. Pesadamente aplicado puede arruinar tu  maquillaje. Realmente me gusto los resultados mi piel pareció lisa y airbrushed pero después de cinco horas comenzó a moverse como loco y parecí súper brillante. Hice el maquillaje de mi abuela para su cumpleaños y esto era tan hermoso en su cara y realmente ayudó a allanar sus líneas. En general creo que este producto es perfecto si tiene piel normal o seca es por eso qué decidí guardarlo para usar en mis clientes.
