DIY Of The Week: Have Minty Fresh Breath Always With These Three Home Remedies!

  Lets start this post off but stating the following, there is very few things more tortures than speaking to someone that has bad breath. Its also one of the most uncomfortable feelings when you suspect your own breath is not as fresh as it can be so here is three reasons people can have halitosis (aka stinky breath). 

1. Poor Hygiene is probably the most common and the most obvious. If you don't brush your teeth, floss and rinse properly at least twice a day then this might be the cause of your not so fresh breath. Its also important to not forget to regularly clean your tongue. Six Months To Our Best Body Ever; Month One Lets Get Healthy And Sexy!


Have you ever looked at yourself in the mirror and can actually see the bad food and bad choices you have made reflected on your skin, hair and even teeth? Well I have and thats all it took me to make some changes to my diet for the better. Here are the things I'm adjusting in my lifestyle to achieve my health and fitness goals and every Sunday I will start sharing new workouts, recipes, tips, and gear. Anything I feel will help us get The Our Best Health And Body Ever!  



 Lets quit drinking sodas, fried foods, and fast foods. This is not my first time trying to clean my diet and I bet its not yours either, so lets not make the same mistakes we have in the past. Notice that nothing I mention is a true necessity. Trust me you DO NOT need a soda or the poison they are feeding us in these Fast Food "Restaurants". 

If you feel like having a burger search a good reviewed restaurant known for their burger and REALLY treat yourself. Have a milk shake instead of that coke but hold the fries. The Key is balance. 



I cant explain what's different now then before but I LOVE WORKING OUT!! I had to say that in all caps because in all honesty I hated to work out. Like I used to do it, but the whole time I'm wishing I was somewhere else. I now look forward to it, I push myself harder and I love to feel the BURN! Right now I work out from home using Youtube videos and I enjoy it more then going to the gym. My husband is actually in the process of setting us up a Gym in the basement, I'm so looking forward to not having to put away my weight and matt after every workout.

So this is the beginning, the beginning of bettering ourselves. I want to make sure that we are all clear on something..... I'm giving myself six months to be in the best health and shape of MY life, your goals and mine can be completely different. It might be that you want to gain or loose weight, whatever your goal is give yourself six months to get there. In six months we will set new goals for the next six months! 

If you ever feel like giving up just remember that its a long process but quitting now will only make it longer. But also don't quit because you want this reaction in six months.......

Day Time Date Outfit!




Taking out time to go on a date with my husband seems almost impossible sometimes, four kids don't make the process any easier. We find that day dates are much easier to do, the two older ones are in school and we only have to part away from the little ones for a couple of hours while they are napping. 

The picking out outfit however isn't always easy, I mean I want to look my best for my husband. I also don't want to over dress, thats when a pair of great fitting jeans always save the day. To look a little more put together I went with black jeans and paired it with this beautiful top and heels.

Anti-Aging 101: Six Tips And Secrets To Look Younger And More Awake!



There is nothing that gives up our age (or ages us more) than the skin around our eyes. Fortunately for us if we properly take care of our eye area, we can prevent and even repair signs of aging like wrinkles, dark circles and puffy eyes.


  • The first tip and most important is prevention, we do this by not exposing our skin to the sun without sunblock and wearing sunglasses to protect the delicate skin around our eyes. 
  • Apply eye creams rich in antioxidants and vitamins, a great eye cream should have active ingredients that combat a few issues at once. I'm currently using and loving THIS ONE
  • Visine yes little old visine is my number one tip for my clients that complain of always looking tired. Bright eyes are one of the first tricks of looking more youthful and awake!
  • Lashes, lashes, lashes I swear it is incredible some of the before and after of my clients after they get eyelash extensions. Faux lashes can take years of you and give you and instant (no knife) eye lift! 
  • Concealer is a must for looking more awake and youthful, the trick is finding one that won't crease on you and if it has added benefits even better, like THIS ONE
  • Last but not least highlight, yes you are reading correctly. If used correctly highlighters work wonders for faking a more awake look. One of my favorite places to use them is under the brow, it immediately lifts the area giving you a more youthful look. I also love using it in the tear duct and a  beige pencil in the water line to open up the eyes. 
Dont forget that good diet, not smoking and getting at least 7-8 hours of sleep play a very important role in how well we age!

Leyla Milani Miracle Brush Is My Holy Grail Hair Brush

I will be honest, I never really gave too much thought on what tools I was using to brush my hair. I mean I always made sure I wasn't being too rough when brushing it and that's about it. That all has changed I ordered the miracle brush.

The Miracle Brush is a natural boar hair and nylon bristle brush and it is excellent at detangling my hair without causing friz or taking away its volume. I have notice such a big difference in the length of my blow dries, and in the overall health of my hair. 
The only negative is that my girls love it too and steal it from my vanity all the time..... Guess I'm going to have to order two more!

My Current Skincare Routine Great For Combination Acne-Prone Skin!

If you have been following my blog for some time now you probably now my skin struggles, if you not.... I'll catch you up; I had THE worst adult acne breakout ever! I tried everything and was even put on antibiotics by my dermatologist. I cleared up my face and Im happy to say my face is back to normal (occasional) breakouts and no excessive oils. 

With my pregnancies I always take a break from using too many products, I don't really need them and I don't like to think I'm putting chemicals into my (baby) body. I started doing research on some new products and others I have been using for years and they don't fail to work for me, this is my current skin care and I have to say my skin has been feeling and looking pretty nice!

Product Fail Of The Week: Le Volume De Chanel!


I cant even believe i'm even writing this post right now Chanel usually ranks really high on my lists of products but this mascara is a total fail. I tried every single possible trick to get my eyelashes to not clump with this mascara but it was all in vain. Another thing that made this mascara suck even more is that it takes forever to dry so when I blink it transfers to my bottom lashes and lid ruining my makeup! Chanel can do so much better then this definitely for the price tag they put on their products. 

No puedo creer que incluso estoy escribiendo este reviso Chanel generalmente ocupa un lugar muy alto en mis listas de productos, pero esta mascara es un fracaso total. He intentado todos los trucos posibles solo para conseguir que mis pestañas no luzcan como cacatúa  pero todo fue en vano. Otra cosa que hizo este rimel apestara aún más es que dura mucho para secarse y termina transferiendose arruinando mi maquillaje! Chanel puede hacerlo mucho mejor definitivamente para el precio que ponen en sus productos.

Apple Cider Vinegar Hair Rinse

Apple cider not only removes hair residue and built up from the products we use it also works by closing the cuticle of the hair, which makes light reflect off it... in other words it makes our hair super shiny and look and feel healthier!

Ingredients:
1 Part Water
1 Part ACV

How To:
I like to use a container with a spray nozzle but this is optional you can use anything you want to mix the apple cider vinegar and water together. After I shampoo I spray the mixture into my hair and massage it into my scalp and make sure my ends are nice and covered with the ACV rinse. I let it sit on my hair for a few minutes before rinsing fully with water. I do apply a conditioning mask after because my hair is super dry from bleaching it, but I used to be able to only use this as my conditioner because it does detangle and leave your hair feeling smooth and soft.

Me gusta usar un recipiente con una boquilla spray pero esto es opcional, que puedes usar algo que mezcle el vinagre de sidra de manzana y el agua. Después del champú rocíe la mezcla en el pelo y masajear el cuero cabelludo y asegúrese de que las puntas está cubiertos con el enjuague de ACV. Lo dejo reposar unos minutos antes de enjuagar completamente con agua en mi pelo. Aplicar una máscara después porque mi cabello es super seco por el descolorante, pero solía ser capaz de utilizar esto como mi acondicionador porque desenredar el cabello y deja el cabello liso y suave.



Apple Cider Vinegar Facial Toner

Because skin is naturally acidic, apple cider vinegar can help restore your skin's natural ph balance. When our skin is in balance our skin perform at its best, acv can also help reduce red marks and blemishes, and soften skin. A good toner can moisturize, refresh and purify son. No need to spend $$ on fancy product to do it.

Ingredients:
1 Part Water 
2 Part Water 
A few leaves of your favorite fresh herb (Optional) 

How To:
One part ACV mixed with two parts water creates a refreshing toner that leaves your skin glowing. It works works best when used after cleansing, and don't worry the vinegar smell will dissipate after a few minutes. For those with sensitive skin you might want to dilute the solution further. 

Tónico Facial de vinagre de sidra de manzana

Porque la piel es naturalmente ácida, vinagre de sidra de manzana puede ayudar a restablecer el equilibrio del ph natural de tu piel. Cuando nuestra piel está en equilibrio nuestra piel luce en todo su esplendor, acv también puede ayudar a reducir las manchas y marcas rojas y suavizar la piel. Un buen toner puede hidratar, refrescar y purificar. No hay que gastar $$ en producto para hacerlo.

Ingredientes:
1 Parte de agua
2 Parte de agua
Unas cuantas hojas de la hierba fresca favorita (opcional)

Cómo:
Una parte ACV mezclado con dos partes de agua crea un toner refrescante que deja su piel que brilla intensamente. Funciona mejor cuando está utilizado después de la limpieza y no te preocupes el olor a vinagre se disipará después de unos minutos. Para aquellas personas con piel sensible tal vez quieras la solución más diluida.



Apple Cider Vinegar Foot Soak

 Apple cider vinegar is also great for treating our rough, dry, cracking heels so many of us have. The acid in vinegar, aetic acid, is very gentle but it softens rough heels very well. 

Ingredients:
1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar
A basin of warm water 

How To:
Gently scrub the feet while soaking for 10-15 minutes. Soaking too often or for too long will make the feet look worse so don't over due it and if you have a lot of calluses try breaking it into 10-15 minute sessions, 3 times a week. This also helps with smelly feet, and athletes foot! 

Vinagre de sidra de manzana remojo de pies 

Vinagre de sidra de manzana también es una excelente opción para tratar a nuestros áspero, seco, grietas talones para muchos de nosotros tenemos. El ácido en vinagre, aetic ácido, es muy tranquilo, pero se suaviza áspero tacones muy bien. 

Ingredientes: 
1/4 De taza de vinagre de sidra de manzana 
Una cuenca de agua caliente 

Cómo: 
Suavemente frote los pies durante el remojo durante 10-15 minutos. Tomando demasiado a menudo o por demasiado tiempo, los pies se pueden ver peor, así que si tienes un montón de callos intentar dividirlo en 10-15 minutos, 3 veces a la semana. Esto también ayuda a eliminar malos olores en los pies y pie de atleta.

Legs Smooth As Silk/ Unas Piernas Tan Suave Como Seda!


I have been running around like crazy the past few weeks and I have not been able to maintain my leg waxing schedule. Yes my legs look hairy as a bear right now, and will have to sacrifice and shave! you might be thinking what's the big deal about shaving. Well for me is a major deal because no matter how careful I am, I always cut my legs or my finger nails (ouch) I really dont understand why. I wanted to share this amazing quick tip with you guys, If you want to get the silkiest legs you’ve ever had, before you shave apply aloe vera to your legs for about 30 minutes, I also find that this helps to avoid getting nicks on my legs. Then you can shave, once you’re done, just rinse and add oil to your legs, I like using coconut oil! The aloe vera lets you get sooo close and really preps your skin! Love this super easy tip!!

He estado corriendo como loca las últimas semanas y no he sido capaz de mantener mi pierna depilación con cera. Sí mis piernas parecen como el de un oso peludo, y tendré que sacrificar y afeitarme. Usted podría estar pensando ¿cuál es la gran cosa acerca de afeitarse?. Y para mí es un gran problema porque no importa cuán cuidadosa yo soy, yo siempre me corto mis piernas o mi uñas de los dedos (ouch) YO realmente no entiendo por qué. He querido compartir esta increíble sugerencia con ustedes, si desea obtener los más espectaculares piernas que jamás hayas tenido, antes de afeitarte aplicate el aloe vera en gel en las piernas durante unos 30 minutos, también considero que esto ayuda a evitar que las cortadas en mis piernas. A continuación, puede afeitarse, una vez que hayas hecho, simplemente enjuague y añadir aceite en las piernas! El aloe vera te permite hacer taaaan cerca y realmente prepara tu piel! Amo esta super fácil receta!!

5 beauty Ideas To Do In Winter







  • Try a bold pedi, Now's the time to test the waters on nail art (in closed-toed shoes)!
  • Try Laser hair removal! Sessions are best scheduled between November and March. Dark hairs are easier to zap when you are not at all tan.
  • Add Retinol to your skin care. They're great for wrinkles and acne, but sun exposure can cause photosensitivity, so winter is best time to test them out. 
  • Grow your hair! Taking supplements like biotin and Viviscal may help... but they may also stimulate body-hair growth! so try them in the winter when you are no bare-legged or sleeveless. 
  • Try a darker hue! Darker hair color looks healthier.

Heartbreaking Tutorial



I saw this video a few days ago and ever since I saw it I have honestly felt so much better about my skin (flaws and all). This girl's acne is one of the worst I have ever seen, and I worked in Dermatology for three years. She is so brave for baring her skin to the world in that way, I bet it must have been so hard for her, and people can be so cruel and mean.  I can't even imagine what kind of person would see this and think to make a joke out of it. I will be doing a video soon updating you guys with my current routine and what has worked and what didn't, but for now I will give you guys a few tips.

Quick Tips On How To Stay Acne Free:

  • Think less is best, Don't over do any acne treatments as most of them are harsh and can damage your skin even more.
  • See a dermatologist, they are the best and most educated person to talk to if you have really bad acne, but always keep your common sense as they too can make mistakes.
  • Clean skin is the way to go! Never go to bed without washing your skin, clean your phone with a alcohol pad and anything that touches your face on a regular basis.  
  • Use products for your skin type. I f you have oily skin you want to make sure all products you use are oil free, noncomedogenic.

Cure your stinky feet syndrome!


Tired of never being able to kick off your shoes and kick up your heels because every time you do your hubby and friends mysteriously disappear? The reason may be right before your nose. Stinky rotten smelly feet may be turning them off. Put an end to stinky foot odor once and for all!




Jell-O. Soak your feet in lemon or lime Jell-O. Mix Jell-O with hot water. Add cold water to get a nice warm foot bath. Soak feet in Jell-O until the Jell-O begins to "set". Wash feet with warm soapy water and rinse. Dry thoroughly.Good Luck Xxx

Slim It Down!


It might seem like I’ve lost all the baby weight from giving birth, but I can assure you, I need to loose some more! Sometimes I look down and think if I will ever look like I did pre- pregnancy.! But I have been trying some things to help me lose weight, if I could only get over my sweet tooth! This is a easy way to reduce water weight and help you lose wight fast, but don't forget to exercise regularly and eat healthy to assure your results are permanent! Good Luck Xxx

Ingredients
1/2 Cup Watermelon
1/2 Cup Honey Dew
1 Tablespoon Honey
Mix all ingredients together in a blender and serve! Enjoy for a super high vitamin and antioxidant drink!

Eyes got it!



Eye makeup is all about the lashes, which give your eye shape and depth. It's no surprise, then, that mascara usually ranks as number one or two, right after lipstick, as the most popular product for women. Mascara is used to darken, thicken, emphasize, lengthen, and/or define the lashes. There are many different brands and type of mascaras but the brush is the key to a great lash look. Then there are the fake lashes for those of us that don't have a lot of lashes, or like to go for the more dramatic, or sexy look. Check out my tips below and leave your comments, Good Luck Xxx

 Best Brush? One with a combination of small and large bristles.
  • Small brushes with small bristles dye the lashes the best.
  • Longer bristles separate the lashes better.
  • Curved brushes curl the lashes. 
  • Professional Eyelash Curler: Curl your lashes before applying mascara, positioning the curler as close to the roots of your lashes. Keeping your eyes open, gently squeeze the curler closed. Don't curl your lashes after you apply mascara or they will break!!



  • Fake Eyelashes:  There are so many kinds to choose from, synthetic, human hairs, and mink hair that look amazing! Use a white (clear) or black adhesive. I personally like black, because it allows me to see the results faster (white takes a minute or two to become clear).
A single individual lash: Gives the most natural look. 

Strip Lashes: For a dramatic effect consider purchasing strip lashes.

Three-Quarter Lashes: The lashes seem to be specially directed to the external corner of the eye, making the look more impressive and romantic.

Lower Lashes: Indeed lower lashes might seem a bit artificial, especially if having rare and thin natural eyelashes. Apply them either on or underneath your real lashes. Proceed as you would do with the individual false eyelashes.

LIPSTICK!


Lipstick is the most popular makeup item in the world-no wonder, because it is the easiest and fastest way to glam up your face. Today's selection is the best ever because of the huge color range, and types. With that being said I'm sure we have all seen woman walking around with the worst lipstick application EVER!!! or the color is not right for their skin tone or age. NO-no's
  1. Dry, chapped lips with matte lipstick. The remedy:exfoliate your lips before applying makeup. Use a tinted lip balm or sheer lipstick until your lips are back to normal.
  2. Dark Lip liner and drawing beyond the natural lip line. This technique works on drag queens ONLY.
  3. Too much gloss, the lips end up looking as if they were swimming in a glycerin ocean. A small amount goes a long way.
  4. Half-eaten away lipstick. The remedy: always carry lip makeup with you (lip balm, liner, lipstick, and a brush) to avoid this "look". Always check out your lips after lunch and dinner, before a meeting, and so on.
  5. 50+: too-girly lip makeup (too pink). Keep the look classy and elegant. Stick with natural browns, natural light salmon pinks, peach, and classy reds. A hint of gloss always looks fresh and gives the lips a beautiful sheen.
